Responsibilities
We are looking for a
Cloud Data Engineer (AWS)
to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern cloud data platforms.
You will work on building scalable data solutions in AWS, supporting data processing pipelines, and helping transform business requirements into reliable and efficient cloud architectures. The role involves collaboration with software engineers, data engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the full lifecycle of data platform development.
You will have the opportunity to design and implement ETL pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and optimize distributed data processing using modern big-data technologies.
- Design and implement cloud-based data processing solutions in AWS
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Build and optimize data workflows using PySpark.
- Work with AWS Glue jobs and data catalog.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines performance.
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for data platforms.

Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- AWS Certification (Associate or Professional level preferred).
- Experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Practical experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue.
- Designing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Good understanding of data lakes and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Good written and spoken English, Polish.
- Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office, once every two months.
