What to expect day to day?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CloudOps Engineer to help automate, deploy and secure customer facing Cloud solutions using DevSecOps practices such as automation, CI Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code & Security.

You will work alongside Software Development, Product and Operations teams to identify and eliminate constraints in the product life cycle. You will help to develop monitoring and alerting for AWS deployed platforms and software to support sustained and reliable availability of internal and production systems.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is ambitious and not afraid to take ownership, someone with strong technical problem – solving skills and who is collaborative with development teams and has a passion to automate away the mundane areas of development and deployment and will keep up to date with current trends in technology.

You will be working alongside the small, existing team but will be expected to bring additional knowledge and experience to aid the growth and expansion of the company.

The successful candidate must be available for participation in the on-call rotation schedule and occasional travel.

What will you need to succeed?

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role (SRE, Cloud infrastructure/DevOps)
  • An understanding of the SDLC process.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience of container technologies (Docker or Podman)
  • Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
  • Experience of AWS services (VPC, Security Group, EC2, Route53, IAM, S3, AWS-cli)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration Pipelines (Gitlab CI, Travis CI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with Source Control Management (Git)
  • Demonstrable Linux Systems Administration (Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Experience with Web servers (Apache, NGINX)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience of producing technical and process documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related is desirable but not essential.

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Service monitoring and graphing tools (DataDog, Prometheus + Grafana, Nagios + Munin)

Job Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Salesforce Engineer II, Service Cloud / Health Cloud designs, develops, configures, tests, and supports Salesforce solutions for Syneos Health’s Service Cloud, Health Cloud, REMS, and Engagement Center platforms. This role focuses on case management, patient and HCP workflows, REMS processes, enrollment, service operations, user experience, automation, reporting support, and platform configuration.

The role works closely with the Senior Salesforce Engineer, Salesforce architecture, product owners, business stakeholders, QA, validation, operations, and platform support teams. The position contributes to the development of an internal Salesforce engineering capability by building platform knowledge, documenting supported components, resolving production issues, and delivering maintainable enhancements across Service Cloud, Health Cloud, REMS, and related capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and support Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Health Cloud, REMS, Experience Cloud, and Field Service capabilities.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce Flows, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, page layouts, dynamic forms, permission sets, validation rules, custom objects, and metadata configuration.
  • Support business processes such as case management, patient engagement, HCP engagement, enrollment processing, REMS operations, documentation workflows, surveys, and service operations.
  • Work with business analysts and product owners to refine requirements and convert them into maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Partner with QA and validation teams to support test planning, defect resolution, regression testing, and release evidence.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and service requests related to Salesforce configuration, automation, access, data, and user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and release readiness activities.
  • Assist in documenting system functionality, technical designs, configuration decisions, and support procedures.
  • Follow Syneos standards for secure development, least privilege access, auditability, data protection, and regulated platform delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of Salesforce development or administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, permission sets, custom objects, validation rules, and platform configuration.
  • Experience supporting Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, or similar CRM business processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting Salesforce defects and supporting production users.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, field-level security, sharing, and role hierarchy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant or Health Cloud Accredited Professional.
  • Experience with REMS, patient services, healthcare, life sciences, contact center, or regulated workflows.
  • Experience building technical documentation and support procedures for enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SFDX, Git, and Salesforce deployment tools.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent, reliable, and accurate configuration of customer environments—supporting smooth deployments across all stages of the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial onboarding and cluster registration in EDGE UI.
  • Conduct node registration, verification, and environment readiness checks
  • Apply and maintain labels and configuration attributes.
  • Enforce pre-deployment configuration standards; document exit criteria and handoff to lifecycle support.
  • Ensure configuration consistency across environments.
  • Collaborate with customers, project teams, DevOps, engineering, and support.
  • Document configuration steps and standards.
  • Identify configuration inconsistencies and resolve them.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed procedural documentation and procedures for team members

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes‑style concepts (nodes, labels, workloads).

DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Implement version control and release management best practices
  • Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues to minimize downtime
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute application releases and deployments to ensure seamless processes
  • Work closely with development and testing teams for efficient release cycles
  • Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance
  • Establish and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration

We are looking for a talented, analytical and dedicated DevOps Engineer with Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics or Technical fields or an equivalent combination of formal and informal education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience of Azure architecture and services, GitLab, Jenkins and code release
  • Experience in Docker Orchestration or Kubernetes services
  • Experience in release coordination, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address infrastructure challenges.
