Key Responsibilities of the Role**:**

  • Manage the co-ordination of the civil work packages including subcontractor onboarding, EHS, QAQC, schedule, design & handover.

  • Management of site safety in conjunction with the contractors, project manager & Mercury safety advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of the subcontractors files.

  • Management of Site QA in conjunction with the contractors, Mercury project manager and QAQC lead including set up, management and close out of the subcontractors files.

  • Management of the project schedule in conjunction with the contractors, site planner, project managers and consulting engineer/Architect to Mercury Engineering and client requirements.

  • Management of all commercial aspects associated with the package with the support of the project QS including:

    • Labour
    • Material
    • Plant and Equipment
    • Variations
    • Valuations
  • Management of all day-to-day site operations

  • To support the engineering requirements through managing & liaising with key project Stakeholders (Client design team, Main contractor, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, etc).

  • Ensure Works are installed in accordance with the project specifications and to the project QA plan (for e.g. pre-agreed benchmarking).

  • Assisting the installation package team to manage the quality needs for the project on site, providing guidance to ensure we are compliant to all relevant standards/codes and specifications associated. This will include all site activities associated with validation and handover to the client. Manage the construction work packs process from development, implementation and handover. This will involve activities onsite to support our construction team.

  • Familiarisation of design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the project works. Overseeing the co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority. This will require generation/management of requests for information (RFI), technical queries etc.

  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractors.

  • Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.

  • Attendance at site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and co-ordination meetings and handover meetings

  • Assist the wider team with close out of all project deliverables including final account, O&M Manuals, punch list, safety file, QA file, material and plant re-locations, project plan.

  • Issue regular reports to the Project Manager this will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Mercury - e.g. late deliveries.

  • Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete.

  • Issue weekly safety stats & project labour projections. Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.

  • Preparing sub-contract and supplier tender packages in conjunction with project QS.

  • Assessment of sub-contractor and supplier tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specifications.

  • Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.

  • Develop and implement company procedures with the project managers

  • Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).

  • Review drawings and setting out details

  • Review as-built drawings for services

  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary

  • Ensure Mercury policies and procedures are followed closely.

  • Develop contractor snag lists & monitor close out rates to ensure alignment with the project KPI’s. Management of the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable. Ensure all snags are distributed to all Sub-contractors

  • All other duties associated with this role.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten der Rolle:

  • Wöchentlich Sicherheitsstatistiken und Projektarbeitsprognosen veröffentlichen. Direkte Arbeitsstunden und Subunternehmerstunden werden dem Zeitverwalter zur zentralen Erfassung zugewiesen.

  • Erstellung von Unterauftrags- und Lieferantenausschreibungsunterlagen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projekt-QS.

  • Bewertung der Angebote von Subunternehmern und Lieferanten hinsichtlich der technischen Übereinstimmung mit den Spezifikationen der Konstruktionsabsicht.

  • Halten Sie wöchentliche Besprechungen mit dem Vertriebsteam ab, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Änderungen erfasst und die Kosten dem Kunden in Rechnung gestellt werden.

  • Gemeinsam mit den Projektmanagern Unternehmensabläufe entwickeln und implementieren.

  • Sicherstellen, dass das Änderungsmanagement korrekt durchgeführt wird (Kosten & Programm).

  • Zeichnungen und Absteckungsdetails prüfen

  • Überprüfen Sie die Bestandspläne für die Dienstleistungen

  • Führe ein wöchentliches Projektfototagebuch.

  • Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Richtlinien und Verfahren von Mercury genau eingehalten werden.

  • Erstellen Sie Mängellisten der Auftragnehmer und überwachen Sie die Abschlussquoten, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Projekt-KPIs sicherzustellen. Management des Mercury-Mängelsystems „In Bearbeitung“, um sicherzustellen, dass die Vorgesetzten gegebenenfalls wöchentlich Mängellisten zurücksenden. Sicherstellen, dass alle Mängel an alle Subunternehmer verteilt werden.

Language Proficiency:

Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Architect

Deine Aufgaben:

Als Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Architect wirkst Du als fachlicher Lead für Data-Warehouse-Engineering und Architektur und bist technische/r Sparringspartner/in der Teamleitung bei Modellierungs-, Integrations- und Plattformentscheidungen. Du verbindest fachliche Tiefe in Data-Modellierung mit technologischem Weitblick und gestaltest die Basis für eine moderne, zukunftssichere Datenarchitektur. Im Zentrum stehen dabei eine starke Data-Vault-2.0-Architektur, hohe Standards in Modellierung und Integration sowie die technische Weiterentwicklung unserer Plattform in Richtung moderner Zielarchitekturen wie Databricks oder Snowflake mit Perspektive auf zukünftige AI- und Advanced-Analytics-Anwendungen.

  • Du prägst die Architektur und technologische Ausrichtung unseres Data Warehouses und setzt die Leitplanken für nachhaltige technische Entscheidungen
  • Du entwickelst unsere Data-Vault-2.0-Kernarchitektur weiter und schaffst damit die Grundlage für verlässliche, fachlich belastbare und erweiterbare Datenstrukturen
  • Du übernimmst fachliche Führung in komplexen Engineering-Fragestellungen, führst Reviews durch, etablierst Best Practices und stellst sicher, dass Architektur- und Entwicklungsstandards im Team wirksam umgesetzt werden
  • Du definierst verbindliche Standards für Modellierung, Architektur und Entwicklung und sorgst für Konsistenz über alle DWH- und Integrationsschichten hinweg
  • Du entwickelst und optimierst robuste ETL/ELT-Prozesse auf Basis von Azure Data Factory und SQL kontinuierlich weiter
  • Du stellst Datenqualität, Historisierung und Performance über den gesamten Datenlebenszyklus sicher
  • Du erweiterst die CI/CD-Pipelines, automatisierst Tests und gestaltest effiziente Deployment-Strategien
  • Du bist technische Ansprechperson für Product Owner und Fachbereiche bei allen Data-Warehouse- und Integrationsfragen
  • Du erkennst technologische Chancen frühzeitig, evaluierst moderne Plattformen und leitest dar-aus umsetzbare Architekturpfade für unsere bestehende DWH-Landschaft ab
  • Du arbeitest eng mit BI- und Reporting-Teams zusammen, um stabile und nutzerfreundliche Datenstrukturen bereitzustellen

Unsere Anforderungen:

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Senior Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Architect oder in vergleich-barer Senior-Rolle
  • Du hast nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Analyse und Lösung komplexer produktiver DWH-/ETL-Probleme und kannst zwischen kurzfristiger Stabilisierung, sauberer Architektur und langfristiger Modernisierung abwägen
  • Tiefes Know-how in Data Vault 2.0 und datenorientierter Modellierung mit sauberer Historisierung und belastbaren Best Practices
  • Erfahrung mit Dimensional Modeling für Reporting-Schichten
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in relationaler Datenmodellierung und Datenintegrationsarchitekturen
  • Umfassende Azure-Erfahrung (Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, Storage, Azure DevOps)
  • Erfahrung mit oder ausgeprägtes Interesse an modernen Datenplattformen wie Databricks und/oder Snowflake. Entsprechendes Know-how ist ein klarer Pluspunkt
  • Freude daran, eine Datenplattform mit Blick auf Zukunftsthemen wie AI, Advanced Analytics und moderne Architekturen aktiv mitzugestalten
  • Sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse und Praxis in komplexen, produktiven ETL/ELT-Pipelines
  • Du etablierst Engineering-Standards, führst Code- und Architektur-Reviews durch und stellst eine hohe technische Qualität über den gesamten Entwicklungs- und Betriebszyklus sicher
  • Architektonisches Denken mit Fokus auf Stabilität, Skalierbarkeit und Zukunftssicherheit
  • Strukturierte Arbeitsweise, hohe Eigenverantwortung und exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
