Job Description
We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is not a standard Data Engineering role; instead, you will focus on building robust, scalable Data Infrastructure platforms using Open Source software. Your primary mission is to deploy and manage high-performance data technologies—such as Apache Pinot, Apache Druid, and Trino—within a well-architected Amazon EKS environment.

You will work on pioneering, high-risk technical solutions, navigating complex customer environments to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure that pushes the boundaries of standard implementations.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Implementation: Architect and deploy Open Source Data OSS (Trino, Spark, Pinot, Druid) on Amazon EKS.
  • Hands-on Development: Maintain a 100% hands-on approach, utilizing IDEs, Git, and strict coding best practices to manage infrastructure as code.
  • Problem Solving: Navigate complex customer hierarchies and technical landscapes to identify, propose, and implement bespoke solutions.
  • Pioneering Work: Design and implement novel, high-risk solutions that have not been previously established.
  • Collaboration: Act as a subject-matter expert in Open Source technologies, ensuring all builds are well-architected and production-ready.

  • Data OSS Expertise: Minimum rating of 3 (on a 5-point scale) in deploying and managing Data OSS software, including Trino, Spark, or Pinot.
  • Data Foundations: Strong familiarity with Data Lakes, Spark, and Hive architectures.
  • Versatility: A demonstrated willingness to work with non-AWS and broad Open Source ecosystems.
  • Soft Skills: High comfort level engaging with complex customer environments and an aptitude for high-stakes technical troubleshooting.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Prior hands-on experience working with Fruitstand.

Você será responsável por garantir a sustentação dos ambientes on-premise da Infox, atuando diretamente na administração de servidores de aplicação Java, ambientes Linux, Kubernetes e middleware.

Você trabalhará em parceria com as equipes de Infraestrutura, Banco de Dados, Sustentação e Engenharia, apoiando a evolução tecnológica dos produtos da Infox.

Seu dia a dia

  • Administrar e sustentar servidores de aplicação Java, como JBoss EAP, WildFly e Tomcat, além de servidores web e proxies, como Apache HTTP e HAProxy;
  • Gerenciar ambientes Kubernetes On-Premise utilizando plataformas como OpenShift, Rancher ou K3s;
  • Monitorar continuamente a saúde dos ambientes, realizando análise de logs, troubleshooting e identificação de gargalos de desempenho;
  • Utilizar ferramentas de observabilidade e APM, como Zabbix, Grafana e similares, para monitoramento e análise de performance das aplicações;
  • Atuar na sustentação de ambientes Linux, realizando diagnóstico e resolução de problemas relacionados a CPU, memória, armazenamento e serviços;
  • Desenvolver scripts em Bash ou Python para automatização de tarefas operacionais e otimização da administração dos ambientes;
  • Apoiar equipes de Banco de Dados na análise de conectividade, desempenho e impacto de consultas na camada de aplicação;
  • Participar da investigação e resolução de incidentes críticos, contribuindo para análises de causa raiz e melhoria contínua da infraestrutura;
  • Trabalhar em conjunto com diferentes áreas técnicas para garantir a disponibilidade, estabilidade e evolução dos ambientes da Infox.

Requisitos
O que buscamos

  • Ensino Superior completo em Ciência da Computação, Engenharia da Computação, Sistemas de Informação ou áreas correlatas;
  • Experiência com sustentação de infraestrutura e administração de ambientes críticos;
  • Sólidos conhecimentos em Linux e troubleshooting de sistemas operacionais;

Overview:

The DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Bunge's technology infrastructure. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools, and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Bunge's technology operations.

Essential Functions:

Design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring and alerting systems.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure that code is released frequently and reliably, and that deployments are smooth and efficient.

Work with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure that the underlying infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and improve the overall efficiency of Bunge's technology operations.

Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and incidents in a timely manner.

Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.

Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

3-5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering..

Very good knowledge of English in general.

Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket or Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of infrastructure management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Solid experience with containerization such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

Solid knowledge about security aspects in cloud and on-premise.

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure where GCP is preferred.

Experience with monitoring software such as Datadog, Zabbix, Kibana etc.

Hand-on coding, deploying, and supporting large scale, serverless architectures.

Infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaaC).

Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced NetDevOps Engineer with solid Telecom OSS expertise to play a key role in the design and delivery of an SD-WAN automation solution for B2B services of a telecom operator in Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and deliver network automation solutions for IP/MPLS and overlay services
  • Create HLD, LLD and integration specifications
  • Implement YANG data models and network automation workflows
  • Prepare and review test plans
  • Analyze and integrate third-party controllers, NMS/EMS, and monitoring systems for P/PE/CPE devices
  • Work closely with customers to clarify requirements, validate solution design, and ensure correct implementation of network automation solutions
  • Develop and execute PoCs, demos, pilot scenarios, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare the technical part of RFP/RFI responses, including solution design and effort estimation.
  • Participate in service design and evolution for SD-WAN and IP/MPLS/SR services
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects during pre-sales and delivery phases
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality network automation products leveraging GenAI and agentic AI approaches

Skills And Experience

  • Practical programming experience applied to network automation, integrations, or orchestration (Python, templating languages).
  • Proven hands-on experience with YANG-based data modelling.
  • Solid experience with NETCONF/RESTCONF, APIs, and model-driven automation approaches.
  • Deep understanding of IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, and packet network architectures.
  • Experience with B2B service provisioning, ZTP, and SD-WAN controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of network devices, NMS/EMS, and modern virtualized/containerized network functions.
  • Practical understanding of networking concepts and protocols:
