Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Statistics, Algorithms and Data Structures.
  • Basic engineering skills in Python,
  • Experience with VCS (preferably Git)
  • Basic understanding of Data Science concepts (supervised vs unsupervised, regression vs classification, overfitting vs underfitting etc)
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
  • English: Upper-intermediate or higher (spoken and written)
  • Education: Technical education (BS or MS in a technical field or currently pursuing the degree)

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud services: GCP/ Azure/ AWS. Especially valuable if ML-services were used.
  • Proved experience in Python engineering
  • Experience in Data Science (pet or academic projects, hackathons etc.)
  • Experience of using Data Science tools and frameworks: Jupyther, scikit-learn, pandas, seaborn, pytorch etc
  • Domain knowledge outside of the Computer Science field

We're looking for a
Senior Data Engineer
with strong
Python
skills and hands-on
Spark infrastructure
experience to help run and evolve our data platform operations. You'll partner closely with engineers across the team and with Data Scientists, providing support and building processes that keep our large-scale data infrastructure running smoothly and reliably. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning platform reliability end-to-end - from pipeline design to production observability.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers across the team to operate and evolve the data platform
  • Work closely with Data Scientists, providing technical support and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
  • Manage and optimize Spark infrastructure supporting a high volume of jobs
  • Manage Kubernetes resources for on-prem workloads
  • Implement and maintain authentication and data governance practices
  • Handle file compaction and maintenance across HDFS and object stores
  • Design and maintain partitioning strategies, schemas, and type-safe data models using table formats like Iceberg/Hive
  • Set up and maintain observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and participate in on-call rotations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally as a strong team player across engineering and data science teams

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid experience with Spark infrastructure at scale
  • Background in distributed systems
  • Experience managing Kubernetes resources
  • Practical knowledge of authentication and data governance principles
  • Familiarity with file compaction and maintenance on HDFS or object stores
  • Strong grasp of data engineering fundamentals: partitioning, schema design, type safety, and table formats (Iceberg, Hive)
  • Experience with observability and on-call practices, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, including alerting setup
  • Proficiency in Python and Airflow
  • Experience with Kubernetes (on-prem) and Docker
  • Familiarity with Trino/Presto
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards and supporting datasets on certified gold semantic models
  • Migrate legacy reports onto the gold model and automate recurring manual reporting (including end-of-quarter finance outputs), retiring untrusted or duplicated reports
  • Enhance, maintain and adapt data models to changing business and operational requirements, in line with the Group’s modelling and DAX standards
  • Build and deliver capabilities that enable business self-service around reporting, analytics and dashboarding
  • Validate outputs rigorously against certified definitions; troubleshoot and correct issues in existing reports
  • Apply AI-assisted development in daily work - LLM-assisted DAX, M and SQL, Copilot in Power BI, and automated data-quality and reconciliation checks - while owning the accuracy of what ships
  • Tune performance of models and reports (query folding, incremental refresh, aggregations)
  • Provide technical consultation to business partners across global offices and document what you build
  • Contribute improvements to the BI team’s ways of working - documentation, reusable patterns, quality checks - and implement them
  • Support a repeatable onboarding pattern as new Group entities adopt the shared BI platform

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong command of the Microsoft Power BI stack, with advanced DAX for data shaping and modelling and strong Power Query / M skills
  • Data visualization craft and command of best practices for executive and operational audiences
  • Rigorous validation habits - you treat reconciliation against certified definitions as part of the build, not an afterthought
  • Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders across time zones
  • Comfort using AI coding and analysis assistants productively and critically
  • Self-starter who can take a designed pattern and deliver volume against it with high quality

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in BI development or analytics, with substantial hands-on Power BI delivery
  • Data modelling experience with Tabular models; advanced DAX in production reports
  • Strong MS SQL Server / T-SQL experience; SSIS or modern pipeline tooling (e.g. Azure Data Factory / Fabric pipelines) is a plus
  • Experience migrating or consolidating legacy reporting estates is a strong advantage
  • Performance troubleshooting and tuning of Power BI models and reports
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI deployment pipelines, or streaming datasets is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or compensating experience

Senior Software Engineer, Edge
joins a small, high-impact team building the software layer that runs on companies core device infrastructure. The system is a hybrid edge-cloud architecture spanning video, security, networking, storage, and on-device AI. Resource-constrained, performance-critical, real-time. You'll own how well the software behaves under load — CPU, memory, concurrency — on a dedicated machine where every cycle counts.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the core edge platform running across diverse hardware in a hybrid edge-cloud architecture
  • Develop and integrate video management capabilities: streaming, recording, real-time AI processing
  • Design and optimize for low-latency, high-performance workloads at the edge
  • Build secure, efficient communication pipelines between edge devices and cloud systems
  • Work with AI/ML engineers to deploy and optimize on-device models
  • Own performance under load — profile CPU/memory, identify bottlenecks, fix them
