Day-to-day Responsibilities...
- Individual contributor role with no direct reports, providing regional technical leadership across Purina LATAM factories.
- Develop and deploy Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI solutions to support Enhanced Problem Solving and operational decision-making.
- Analyze manufacturing, process, equipment, and sensor data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, loss reduction, quality enhancement, and process stability.
- Lead Data Science projects from opportunity identification through implementation and value realization, ensuring delivery of expected business benefits.
- Develop, scale, and replicate analytics solutions across Purina LATAM factories, generating operational savings and performance improvements.
- Partner with Manufacturing Excellence, Operations, Engineering, Automation, IT, and Quality teams to integrate solutions into manufacturing processes and systems.
- Support operational compliance, performance management, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights and digital solutions.
What will contribute to your success?
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, or related analytical projects.
- Experience applying analytics to solve business or operational challenges, preferably in manufacturing environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and regional or matrix organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, and Data Visualization.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analytics tools.
- Experience with databases, data integration, and industrial/manufacturing data analysis.
- Knowledge of structured problem solving, continuous improvement, and project management methodologies.
- Ability to communicate analytical insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Intermediate to Advanced English.
- Intermediate Spanish (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and change management skills.
- Experience with TrendMiner, Braincube, Databricks, Azure, or similar analytics platforms.

- Knowledge of SAP, MII, DMO, automation systems, or industrial data infrastructures.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational savings initiatives.
- Experience scaling analytics and AI solutions across multiple sites or regions.
