About the project:
As a
Senior DevOps Engineer
, you will help operate and scale the cloud platform behind IKEA Kreativ, supporting millions of users globally and powering advanced 3D, AI, and Visualization experiences. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build reliable, scalable infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms while helping drive technical excellence and operational efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- Be a hands-on DevOps engineer, guiding design & development of the platform’s cloud architectures and systems integrations – in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Improve features, scalability and reliability of the platform by leading technical & process improvements.
- Reliably coordinate complex technology roadmaps and be a close trusted partner to the product and development teams.
- Work closely with internal service teams to design, build and develop systems that scale to millions of customers around the world and run on multiple cloud platforms.
- Design and promote healthy & effective engineering practices in the team – conduct code reviews to ensure code & architecture quality, write and review software design documents, and drive efficient and effective test automation.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ Years of experience with Kubernetes and Linux container tools.
- 4+ Years of experience with CI/CD/Gitops workflows and tooling.
- 3+ Years of experience with Python and Python web development.
- Excellent software engineer with strong Computer Science foundations.
- Experience with leading projects and designing complex technical architecture.
- Experience with operating production services on cloud infrastructure.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
