Your Impact
As an Engineering Manager for the Webex Partner Hub, you will lead the architecture and scaling of a robust ecosystem designed to transform how our partners conduct business. You will drive partner success by delivering intuitive, high-performance capabilities that empower them to seamlessly manage customer lifecycles, provision complex services, and leverage actionable, data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Service Owner for Partner Hub, with end-to-end accountability for service health, reliability, security, operational readiness, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on the Partner Hub platform.
  • Drive the technical roadmap and delivery of features that enhance partner productivity and platform scalability.
  • Foster an agile, high-velocity development environment while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD practices, security, and observability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a formal leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern web technologies, scalable API design, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-functional projects and consistently deliver high-quality software on schedule.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in defining and executing technical roadmaps that align with broader organizational goals. Ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, actionable team priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in managing stakeholder relationships at the Senior Manager and Director, driving alignment across organizational boundaries to deliver high-impact outcomes.
  • Experience architecting or managing the development of large-scale, distributed systems or SaaS platforms. Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and the ability to guide teams through complex technical trade-offs.
  • A strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing engineering teams. Experience in fostering a culture of engineering excellence, including CI/CD, security, and observability, while empowering team members through regular mentorship and clear feedback.
  • Experience leading teams through organizational change or adopting new technologies (e.g., integrating AI tools into development workflows to drive automation and process efficiency).
  • Prior experience in the collaboration, partner-facing portal, or B2B SaaS space is highly desirable.

Your Impact
As a Software Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the backend services of the Partner Hub. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to build robust, scalable solutions, gaining hands-on experience with our production-grade backend stack. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of backend features, focusing on service logic, API development, and data processing.
  • Support the development of backend services using Java, Node.js, or Python.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend services with user-facing interfaces via RESTful APIs.

Senior Data Engineer
to strengthen our data team in the financial services industry. You'll take ownership of end-to-end data solutions on Azure and Databricks, shape how we model and govern data across Bolder Group, and act as a technical reference point for less experienced colleagues.

, gives shape to ideas and concepts, and takes care of the implementation and improvement of data sources — with only sporadic feedback needed.

What You'll Do

  • Own data pipelines end-to-end – Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data stores and Databricks clusters using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Design data models & the Enterprise Dimensional Model – Build models that support a single source of truth and are optimized for Power BI and downstream analytics.
  • Architect data solutions on Azure – Translate business requirements into scalable solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database, and Logic Apps.
  • Data management & governance – Champion data quality practices, master/reference data, data catalogue, and data publishing; help implement governance and security controls across Bolder's data platform.
  • Performance & cost optimization – Continuously monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coach & mentor – Guide junior data engineers, review their work, and share knowledge across the team.
  • Innovation – Identify improvement opportunities, contribute to setting them up, and drive their implementation.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, ideally including cloud-based projects.
  • Azure services – strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Logic Apps; able to design end-to-end architectures.
  • Databricks & Data Lake – solid experience with the Lakehouse concept, Delta Lake, and performance tuning.
  • Data modelling – strong grasp of dimensional modelling, Medallion architecture, and building models for BI consumption.
  • Programming – advanced Python, SQL, and PySpark; comfortable with version control (Git)
  • CI/CD – Solid grasp of CI/CD principles with hands-on experience
  • Data governance – experience implementing data quality, lineage, and cataloguing practices (e.g., Unity Catalog).
  • English – confident written and verbal communication with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Mindset – ownership-driven, structured, and comfortable coaching others.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration with market data providers

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Machine Learning workflows (a plus, not a requirement)
  • AI curiosity – Keen interest in AI and eager to explore its role in data engineering

Which challenges are expecting you

  • You will lead the development and improvement of our Python backends for LLM-backed agent applications, such as chatbots, as well as the ongoing evolution of our Agentic AI platform.
  • You will provide technical direction for a team of Agentic AI engineers, define engineering standards, review architectural decisions, and support the team in delivering scalable, reliable, and production-ready solutions.
  • You will improve customer experience by stabilizing and enhancing existing solutions, including better visualization, automated validations, function calling, agent actions, observability, and quality assurance.
  • You will identify and implement new business requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.
  • You will drive cooperation with the business and actively contribute to customer workshops, meetings, and calls. The ability to explain technical topics clearly to business colleagues and demonstrate a consultant’s mindset is essential.
  • You will lead technical brainstorming sessions, architecture discussions, code reviews, and pair programming sessions.
  • You will identify potential use cases for automation, Agentic AI, and data science. Innovative ideas are welcome.

We work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of working from home , but twice a week we meet in the office in Košice or Bratislava for meetings

  • At least 8 years of experience building and operating production-grade software in Python, preferably using frameworks such as FastAPI, Pydantic, Temporal, and similar technologies.
  • Proven experience leading engineers, technical workstreams, or software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, API design, asynchronous processing, scalability, resilience, and production operations.
  • Preferably strong knowledge of LLM and Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, as well as Azure OpenAI and OpenAI APIs. Ideally, you have already built and operated a production-ready solution using these technologies.
  • Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, in-memory databases such as Redis, and document or search databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and operating RESTful APIs and web service applications in production.
  • Cloud and DevOps experience, including Docker, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and deployment to Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Understanding of production requirements for Agentic AI systems, including testing, evaluation, observability, security, cost management, and reliability.
  • You are comfortable making technical decisions, explaining trade-offs, and aligning engineers and stakeholders around a clear solution.
  • You are flexible, comfortable with changing priorities, and prefer working in agile environments such as XP, Scrum, or Lean.
