Engineer Windows Endpoint Solutions at Enterprise Scale
We are looking for an
Endpoint Engineer
to join an established Endpoint Engineering team supporting a large-scale global technology environment in Budapest.
The role focuses on
Windows endpoint and systems management
, with hands-on work across
Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager, PowerShell automation, Windows device lifecycle management, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical documentation
.
This is
not a standard helpdesk role
. The focus is on engineering, automation, process improvement, and escalation support for Windows management technologies operating at enterprise scale.
What You'll Do
- Support and improve Windows endpoint and systems management solutions.
- Work extensively with
Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
and related endpoint technologies. - Support Windows device lifecycle activities, including configuration, deployment, updates, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot complex Windows and endpoint management issues.
- Use event logs, system tools, and root cause analysis to investigate technical problems.
- Develop and support automation and process improvements using
PowerShell
. - Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering notes, and operational runbooks.
- Translate technical and business requirements into practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with global engineering, infrastructure, support, and project teams.
What We're Looking For
✔ Strong professional experience with
Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
.
✔ Hands-on experience with
Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
.
✔ Practical
PowerShell scripting
experience.
✔ Background in
enterprise endpoint management, systems management, or Windows infrastructure engineering
.
✔ Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
✔ Experience working with enterprise-scale Windows technologies.
✔ Ability to translate technical or business requirements into practical solutions.
✔ Good English communication skills and ability to collaborate within global teams.
Nice to Have
⭐ Windows and application patching or servicing experience.
⭐ Azure or AWS exposure.
⭐ Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
⭐ Large-scale OS, software, or patch deployment experience.
⭐ Splunk or similar monitoring/support tools.
⭐ System lifecycle management, including decommissioning or disk hygiene processes.
