MISIÓN / OBJETIVO

Ser el puente entre el negocio y la ciencia de datos, traduciendo retos y oportunidades de las unidades de negocio en soluciones analíticas de alto impacto. El rol comprende profundamente los procesos y objetivos del negocio, aplica modelado estadístico y machine learning para generar insights accionables, integra soluciones con LLM/GenAI donde agrega valor, y acompaña a los equipos directivos en la adopción de una cultura basada en datos, garantizando que cada entregable (modelo, tablero, automatización o recomendación) esté alineado con los resultados esperados por la organización.

FUNCIONES DE PUESTO

  • Levantar y documentar necesidades de las unidades de negocio mediante entrevistas, workshops y análisis de procesos (AS-IS / TO-BE), identificando problemas, hipótesis y criterios de éxito medibles (KPI/KRI).
  • Traducir objetivos estratégicos y de negocio en requerimientos analíticos concretos
  • Co-diseñar con las unidades de negocio los casos de uso analíticos, user stories y criterios de aceptación; priorizar el backlog y definir el roadmap de entregables (insights, modelos, tableros, automatizaciones) con base en impacto y viabilidad.
  • Gestionar stakeholders de manera efectiva
  • Definir, calcular y gobernar KPIs/OKRs en coordinación con las áreas de negocio: establecer diccionario de métricas, reglas de cálculo, segmentaciones y criterios de calidad para garantizar consistencia en el monitoreo operativo y estratégico.
  • Realizar análisis exploratorio y estadístico (EDA), detección de patrones y anomalías, y análisis de causa raíz orientados a responder preguntas concretas del negocio, priorizando la claridad del hallazgo sobre la complejidad técnica.
  • Diseñar y construir tableros ejecutivos y reportes con narrativa orientada a decisión (data storytelling)
  • Diseñar y desarrollar modelos supervisados y no supervisados (clasificación, regresión, clustering, forecasting, scoring) enfocados en resolver problemas concretos del negocio, seleccionando el algoritmo más adecuado según el contexto (árboles/boosting, regresión regularizada, series de tiempo, redes neuronales).
  • Ejecutar el ciclo completo de modelado: feature engineering, selección de variables, validación cruzada, ajuste de hiperparámetros y evaluación con métricas de negocio acordadas (AUC, F1, RMSE, MAPE, entre otras), comunicando resultados en términos comprensibles para audiencias no técnicas.
  • Coordinar con Data Engineering/MLOps las estrategias de despliegue y operación de modelos en producción (batch/near real-time); asegurar versionamiento, monitoreo de drift y planes de reentrenamiento dentro de los SLAs definidos.
  • Documentar supuestos, limitaciones e interpretabilidad de cada modelo, asegurando que los tomadores de decisión del negocio comprendan el alcance, confiabilidad y forma de uso correcto de los entregables analíticos.
  • Identificar y diseñar casos de uso de negocio donde LLM/GenAI agrega valor real
  • Aplicar técnicas de prompt engineering (plantillas estructuradas, few-shot, chain-of thought) y patrones de arquitectura como RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) con fuentes internas, garantizando respuestas fundamentadas en información verificable de la organización.
  • Definir y ejecutar marcos de evaluación de calidad para soluciones LLM
  • Liderar el desarrollo de prototipos y pilotos con las áreas de negocio, medir impacto (tiempo ahorrado, calidad de salidas, nivel de adopción) y articular el plan de escalamiento productivo con los equipos de tecnología, asegurando controles de privacidad y seguridad de datos.

LICENCIATURA / INGENIERÍA en MATEMÁTICAS o AFÍN

LICENCIATURA / INGENIERÍA. en ACTUARÍA o AFÍN

MAESTRÍA/CERTIFICACIONES

  • Posgrado – Maestria en Analítica, Ciencia de Datos, Inteligencia Artificial, Estadística Aplicada o MBA con IA
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning
  • AWS Certified Data Analytics
  • AWS Certified AI Practicioner

Nota: Se valorarán certificaciones equivalentes en analítica, cloud, datos o business analysis.

EXPERIENCIA

  • 4+ años en roles de analítica de negocio, business intelligence o consultoría analítica, con participación activa en la definición de estrategias de datos, interacción directa con stakeholders de negocio y entrega de soluciones con impacto medible.
  • 3+ años desarrollando y poniendo en producción modelos de ciencia de datos o machine learning de punta a punta (exploración → feature engineering → modelado → despliegue → monitoreo), con foco en valor de negocio y no solo en precisión técnica.
  • Trayectoria comprobable en la construcción y gobierno de métricas/KPIs de negocio, diseño de tableros ejecutivos y operativos, y automatización de reportes que hayan reemplazado procesos manuales o mejorado la calidad de la información disponible para la toma de decisiones.
  • Experiencia deseable en el diseño e implementación de soluciones con LLM orientadas al negocio (p. ej., RAG sobre documentación interna, asistentes conversacionales, extracción y resumen de texto) incluyendo su evaluación de calidad y monitoreo en producción.
  • Deseable: experiencia en sectores regulados (financiero, bursátil, seguros) con manejo responsable de datos sensibles, aplicando controles de privacidad, seguridad de la información y cumplimiento normativo en soluciones analíticas.

apoyarás en el diseño e implementación de un modelo automatizado de integración y procesamiento de datos mediante la extracción, transformación y consolidación (ETL) de información proveniente de ERP (BPCS), archivos Excel y sistemas externos, con el fin de generar reportes de cumplimiento del área de manera automática y estandarizada. El proyecto contempla el desarrollo de herramientas en Excel (macros) y Power BI para la visualización dinámica de KPIs, Asegurando consistencia, trazabilidad y disponibilidad oportuna de la información para la toma de decisiones.

¿Qué harás?
Extracción y consolidación de datos desde ERP (BPCS), Excel y sistemas externos en una base centralizada.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSOCIATE

As an Associate, you are responsible for completing deliverables assigned to you, while ensuring zero defects. You must actively participate in and contribute towards brainstorming of solutions, work planning and conducting thorough quality checks of work done by other team members, if needed. You must keep the project leader/ Manager updated on the case progress while at the same time highlighting roadblocks. You could also be responsible for communicating insights and present answers derived from analysis to case and/or practice teams

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Case delivery: Quantitative research/ Surveys

  • Prepare research designs, sampling plans, and survey instruments for both B2B and B2C surveys
  • Provide inputs to stakeholders on best approach, vendor choice and cost overview of the projects
  • Deliver end-to-end on research projects, including, case team briefing, fieldwork monitoring, fraud/ quality control, maintaining vendor relationships and reporting
  • Conduct survey data analytics to identify patterns and trends using tools like MS Excel
  • Perform thorough quality checks in their work including pressure-testing the insights
  • Create high-quality presentations, dashboards, and written outputs by leveraging rigorous data analysis and synthesizing insights across project workstreams to directly address key hypotheses

Case delivery: Qualitative research

  • Conduct primary research interviews and calls with senior stakeholders (e.g., CXOs, functional leaders, industry experts) and synthesize the insights
  • Manage set-up and delivery of AI-led/ enabled interviews and synthesis of insights

Beyond case delivery

  • Stay ahead of latest industry trends and new tools and technologies in quantitative primary research
  • Motivate team members, boost team morale and exhibit role model behavior
  • Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams
  • Leverage opportunities to provide training, coaching and mentoring to fellow team members

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with a strong academic performance and 0-2 years of relevant experience in a global multinational corporation, with exposure to management consulting and business analytics, or an MBA/ post-graduate with 0-3 years of relevant experience (consulting background preferred)
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever changing project expectations and client needs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and present to senior stakeholder
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SPSS and AI tools is a plus
