Role Overview
To support our growing HMI team, we are looking for a
hands-on and structured engineer
who will assist in the development, integration, and release of HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for our e-bikes.

• Support the development of HMI features from concept to production
• Assist in defining and refining hardware and software requirements
• Support firmware development and validation:

• Assist in implementation and testing of new features
• Help debug and track issues

• Contribute to a smooth transition to production:

• Support end-of-line testing and manufacturing topics
• Track and follow up on production-related issues
• Ensure documentation is complete and up to date

• Assist in release preparation and tracking:

• Maintain release notes and documentation
• Support communication of changes to internal stakeholders

• Work closely with cross-functional teams:

• Motor, Battery, Digital, Mechanical, and Quality
• Help track dependencies and ensure alignment

• Support testing and validation activities:

• Track bugs and support root cause analysis
• Assist in resolving field issues

• Maintain technical documentation (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

What
You’ll Need to Win

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience (or relevant internships) in:

• Embedded systems, firmware, or electronics development
• Consumer electronics, automotive, or similar industries

• Basic knowledge of:

• Embedded systems and firmware development
• Communication protocols (e.g., CAN, BLE, USB)

• Structured and detail-oriented working style
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Fluent in English

Nozomi Networks is hiring a seasoned Software Engineer to join its expanding team.

 

In this role, you'll design and implement features, you'll help reduce tech debt, support team processes, and contribute to overall success in a fast-paced, agile environment. You'll also get to take ownership of user-facing features from inception to release.

 

Key skills include strong software design, experience with algorithms and data structures, building scalable distributed systems, and familiarity with automated testing.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

 

• Proven extensive experience in at least one of the following languages: Ruby, Golang, C++ or Python
• Javascript/Typescript and React experience is highly valuable
• PostgreSQL knowledge is highly valuable
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, …) is highly valuable
• Automated Testing experience (TDD, BDD, etc)
• Field experience with Agile Methodologies
• Ability to operate in settings with strong confidentiality and data privacy protocols

• End-to-end development:
  From requirements analysis through to commissioning, you develop software for operator terminals in sweepers and municipal vehicles.

• Innovative UI concepts:
  You help shape modern user interfaces and contribute your ideas for intuitive user experience design.

• Future-proof architecture:
  Together with our teams, you build the software architecture and toolchain for new control platforms.

• Quality in focus:
  You define software verification, support validation, and ensure sustainable code quality.

• Release & documentation:
  You ensure clear documentation and maintainable code, and take ownership in release management.

Requirements

What you bring

• Technical training in automotive, electrical, or systems engineering, plus a degree from a university of applied sciences (FH) / ETH

• Several years of experience in software development and UI design

• Good knowledge of modern
  C++ programming and Qt6

• Experience with
  Git and Linux

  agile methods (SCRUM)

• Good knowledge of German and English

The Localization Platform Team builds the systems that let GetYourGuide operate as a truly global marketplace. Every translated string a traveler reads, every market we launch into, and every piece of content that reaches a non-English-speaking customer flows through the platform the team owns. We provide the tools, pipelines, and infrastructure that turn source content into high-quality localized content at scale, and the framework that turns a decision to launch in a new market into a repeatable, low-risk rollout. Your mission

• Work in a cross-functional mission team with highly skilled engineers, product, and data
• Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes

• 6+ years of software development experience
• High proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications & services
