About the job

We are looking for a confident and professional Chinese-speaking CBAM Success Engineer to support Chinese manufacturers and suppliers on a part-time basis.

You will lead supplier onboarding sessions, explain CBAM data requirements, support users of the Dubrink platform, and help bridge communication between Chinese suppliers and European customers.

This is more than a translation role. You will learn Dubrink’s supplier workflows and the fundamentals of CBAM so that you can independently guide suppliers, answer common questions, and handle difficult conversations professionally and diplomatically.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier onboarding and support sessions in Mandarin Chinese.
• Explain CBAM requirements and Dubrink workflows clearly.
• Provide high-level interpretation and translation.
• Handle direct, persistent, or sensitive questions calmly and diplomatically.
• Support suppliers with data collection, emissions reporting, and platform use.
• Help improve Chinese-language training materials and supplier communications.
• Learn the basics of related Chinese carbon policies and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Confident, composed, and professional in meetings.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpretation skills.
• Comfortable working with factory managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Able to learn technical and regulatory topics quickly.
• Experience in customer success, manufacturing, sustainability, carbon reporting, or international trade is an advantage.
• Training on CBAM and the Dubrink platform will be provided.

Working Arrangements

• Full-time, on-site
• Availability during working hours that overlap with China.
• Flexible hours depending on supplier demand.
