About The Role
We are looking for a skilled
Software Engineer
with strong full-stack web development experience to join our team in Mexico. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain modern, scalable applications across web, cloud, and database systems.

You will work with a diverse and modern technology stack including
TypeScript, C#, Next.js, Blazor, SvelteKit, Node.js, and .NET Core

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using TypeScript, C#, Node.js, and .NET Core
• Build responsive and high-performance front-end applications using Next.js, Blazor, and SvelteKit
• Develop and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs, including caching strategies and HTTP best practices
• Implement secure coding practices using OWASP, CSP, OAuth/OIDC, cookies/sessions, and CORS
• Develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) with offline capabilities, service workers, and push notifications
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and Core Web Vitals
• Deploy and maintain applications in Azure cloud environments
• Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL for data modeling, querying, and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or full-stack web development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, C#, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Next.js, Blazor, or SvelteKit
• Experience building backend services using Node.js and/or .NET Core
• Solid understanding of API development (REST/GraphQL) and HTTP fundamentals
• Experience working with Azure cloud services
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of web security standards and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with TanStack Query, React Hook Form (RHF), and Zod
• Experience building PWAs with service workers and offline functionality
• Experience with Docker and modern development tooling (Vite, pnpm, ESLint, Prettier)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Playwright, xUnit, or MSTest
• Strong focus on performance optimization and accessibility standards

Must-Have Skills

Senior Full Stack Engineer
to join our team. We are building the most powerful R&D AI-Powered platform in the world. Luma is an AI-Native Multimodal Research Platform for Scientific Intelligence - it fits the way our customers "do science," letting them streamline research with adaptive R&D workflows driven by AI and seamless data integration.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll build scalable features across a distributed, event-driven system and help maintain the technical health of our codebase. You should be a hands-on expert across the Node.js/React ecosystem, comfortable designing asynchronous, microservice-based architectures, with a genuine passion for scientific innovation. We value engineers who are curious about AI and motivated to find new ways to apply it in software development.

This is no ordinary engineering role, this is a product with real-world meaning, one that helps define how scientists work, helping bring medicine to market quicker and find cures for diseases faster. This is LUMA.

In this role you will:

• Lead development of complex, high-impact features across a microservices architecture, owning both backend services and the frontend experiences they power
• Design, build, and maintain serverless and event-driven data pipelines — including streaming and message-based workflows — capable of handling high-volume scientific data
• Build asynchronous, non-blocking services and APIs that scale reliably under load

• Strong fluency with English - Written & Spoken
• 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, ideally with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

The key skills:

• Strong commercial experience building backend services with Node.js and modern frontend applications with React
• Solid experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong proficiency working with PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Experience designing and working within microservices and event-driven architectures, preferably using Kafka
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments
