Als IT Reliability Engineer bist du Teil unseres Engineering-Teams und übernimmst die Verantwortung für die Stabilität, Überwachung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung bestehender Kundenumgebungen.

Du sorgst dafür, dass Systeme zuverlässig betrieben werden, technische Risiken frühzeitig erkannt werden und Monitoring-, Backup-, Update- sowie Lifecycle-Prozesse nachhaltig funktionieren. Dabei leistest du einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Servicequalität und zur langfristigen Stabilität unserer Kundenumgebungen.

Die Themen Monitoring, Betriebsstabilität, Lifecycle-Management und technische Qualitätsstandards haben bei MDigital bereits heute einen hohen Stellenwert und werden aktiv durch unser Engineering-Team gelebt. Aufgrund des Unternehmenswachstums und der zunehmenden Bedeutung dieser Aufgaben investieren wir nun gezielt in eine spezialisierte Rolle innerhalb des Engineering-Teams.

Aufgaben

Monitoring & Infrastruktur

  • Überwachung sämtlicher Kundensysteme über unsere Monitoring-Plattformen

  • Analyse, Priorisierung und Nachverfolgung von Warnmeldungen

  • Sicherstellung der vollständigen Integration produktiver Systeme ins Monitoring

  • Überwachung von Verfügbarkeit, Diensten, Hardware- und Storage-Zuständen

  • Frühzeitige Erkennung technischer und sicherheitsrelevanter Risiken

  • Eskalation kritischer Ereignisse

  • Kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Weiterentwicklung bestehender Monitoring-Prozesse

  • Identifikation und Umsetzung von Verbesserungen zur Erhöhung der Betriebsstabilität

  • Förderung von Standardisierung und Automatisierung im täglichen Betrieb

  • Analyse wiederkehrender Incidents und Erarbeitung nachhaltiger Lösungen

Backup & Recovery

  • Sicherstellung funktionierender Backup- und Recovery-Prozesse

  • Nachverfolgung fehlerhafter Sicherungen

  • Integration neuer Systeme in bestehende Backup-Konzepte

  • Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation regelmässiger Restore-Tests

Client-, Server- & Update-Management

  • Überwachung des Update- und Sicherheitsstatus von Clients und Servern

  • Sicherstellung aktueller Sicherheits- und Systemstände

  • Standardisierung und Automatisierung von Update-Prozessen

  • Verwaltung von Serversystemen über Microsoft Azure Arc

  • Verwaltung von Clients über Microsoft Intune und bestehende Endpoint-Management-Lösungen

  • Förderung einer möglichst zentralisierten und automatisierten Systemverwaltung

Evergreen & Lifecycle Management

  • Überwachung von EOL- und EOS-Systemen

  • Kontrolle von Firmware-, Software- und Security-Ständen

  • Identifikation technischer und sicherheitsrelevanter Altlasten

  • Erarbeitung von Handlungsempfehlungen für Engineering und Management

  • Unterstützung von Standardisierungsinitiativen

Lizenz-, Zertifikats- & Vertragsüberwachung

  • Überwachung von SSL-Zertifikaten und Laufzeiten

  • Kontrolle von Softwarelizenzen und Wartungsverträgen

  • Frühzeitige Meldung bevorstehender Verlängerungen

  • Vermeidung betrieblicher Risiken durch ablaufende Lizenzen oder Zertifikate

  • Nachvollziehbare Dokumentation relevanter Informationen

Dokumentation & Betriebsqualität

  • Pflege und Weiterentwicklung technischer Kundendokumentationen

Pikettdienst und Team-Integration

Als Teil unseres Engineering-Teams beteiligst du dich am rotierenden Pikettdienst und hilfst mit, den stabilen Betrieb unserer Kundenumgebungen auch ausserhalb der regulären Arbeitszeiten sicherzustellen. Die Teilnahme am Pikettdienst wird entsprechend geplant und vergütet.

Bei Bedarf unterstützt du zusätzlich das Engineering-Team bei Rollouts, technischen Umsetzungen oder klar definierten Projektaufgaben was zusätzliche Abwechslung mit sich bringt. Der Schwerpunkt bleibt jedoch bewusst auf der Sicherstellung eines professionellen Betriebs unserer Kundenumgebungen ausgerichtet.
