We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT System Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background across on-premise and cloud infrastructure, network management, and IT operations, with a proactive approach to ensuring system performance, security, and reliability at scale.
Your contribution will be
- Design, implement, and operate IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments (Azure)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring and optimization
- Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure in a hybrid environment (routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS)
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for on-premise systems
- Implement and maintain endpoint security
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, network, and system-level issues
- Collaborate with application developers to support development and delivery
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure, processes, and standards
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Support capacity planning and cost optimization across infrastructure environments
- Own hardware lifecycle and procurement
We need you to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience
in IT system engineering, infrastructure, or operations roles - Strong expertise in managing on-premise Linux server environments
- Hands-on experience with Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management (InTune)
- Hands-on experience with
cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
and hybrid architectures - Experience with
virtualization technologies
(VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) - Solid understanding of
networking concepts
(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) - Experience with
monitoring, logging, and alerting systems - Strong knowledge of
security best practices
, system hardening, and access management - Experience with
backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability setups - Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and automation mindset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
We value if you have
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Certifications such as
Microsoft Certified, AWS/Azure certifications, CompTIA (Network+, Security+), or Cisco (CCNA) - Experience with
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes) - Knowledge of
DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - Experience with
infrastructure as code
(Terraform, Ansible) - Exposure to
enterprise-scale, high-availability, and distributed systems
