Your role as a Junior Quality Engineer will focus on supporting the design, execution, and documentation of software tests to ensure the stability and quality of digital products and enterprise systems. You will begin by contributing to functional and exploratory testing activities, while progressively building your skills and exposure to test automation tools and techniques.

This is an excellent opportunity for early - career professionals with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in growing within the Quality Engineering craft. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to AI - enabled initiatives aimed at accelerating testing and broader engineering activities helping improve productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency.

During your tenure, your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of test cases for functional integration, and regression testing, based on business requirements and user stories.
  • Log and track issues in collaboration with developers and business analysts using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Apply a critical-thinking approach to uncover edge cases and validate real-world user behavior.
  • Maintain clear test documentation and contribute to test reports and knowledge bases.
  • Work closely with cross- functional teams including developers, analysts, and other QA engineers to understand system functionality and test coverage needs.
  • Participate in team initiatives to learn automation testing tools and practices (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), with mentorship from senior team members.
  • Participate in the development, evaluation and adoption of AI - powered solutions that accelerate testing and broader engineering activities. Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for test design, test data generation, documentation, and automation development, while contributing to internal AI - driven accelerators and productivity initiatives.

#WinningRequirements

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and testing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and test case management tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestRail.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • A genuine interest in evolving toward test automation, with a willingness to learn relevant tools and scripting languages.
  • Curiosity about AI - assisted software engineering and testing practices. Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification is considered a plus.
  • Experience in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunications or other relevant sectors will be considered a plus.
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.

Apoyar al área de Procesos de Negocio en el análisis, diseño, documentación y mejora de procesos operativos, asegurando que las iniciativas del área se ejecuten de forma ordenada, clara y alineada a las necesidades del negocio.

El rol tiene un fuerte componente operativo, pero también requiere criterio para proponer mejoras, priorizar iniciativas y servir como punto de conexión entre negocio, operaciones y tecnología.

Responsabilidades principales:

1. Análisis y documentación de procesos

  • Levantar información con diferentes áreas internas (Operaciones, Tecnología, Cumplimiento, Legal, Comercial, Finanzas).
  • Documentar procesos actuales y futuros (As-Is / To-Be).
  • Elaborar diagramas, flujos y documentación de procesos y reglas de negocio.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella, riesgos operativos y oportunidades de mejora.

2. Diseño y creación de workflows

  • Diseñar y mantener workflows operativos para la gestión o automatización de procesos.
  • Crear y actualizar workflows en archivos JSON, incluyendo validaciones y reglas básicas.
  • Trabajar en conjunto con áreas técnicas para la implementación de estos flujos en sistemas internos.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales y asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los workflows.
  • Documentar la lógica y reglas de cada flujo.

3. Gestión y seguimiento de iniciativas

  • Dar seguimiento a planes de trabajo, tareas y pendientes del área.
  • Coordinar reuniones, preparar minutas y dar seguimiento a acuerdos.
  • Identificar dependencias con otras áreas y alertar riesgos o bloqueos.
  • Apoyar en la priorización de iniciativas de acuerdo con impacto y esfuerzo.

4. Gestión de procesos y mejora continua

  • Tratar los procesos y workflows como activos vivos del negocio, sujetos a mejora constante.
  • Proponer ajustes o mejoras con base en la operación diaria y necesidades del negocio.
  • Traducir requerimientos del negocio en definiciones claras para su implementación.
  • Dar seguimiento a cambios y asegurar que los procesos cumplan con el objetivo para el que fueron diseñados.

5. Análisis operativo y preparación de entregables

  • Analizar información relacionada con procesos, indicadores operativos y desempeño de flujos.
  • Preparar reportes, presentaciones y resúmenes ejecutivos para la gerencia.
  • Mantener control documental de las iniciativas del área.

6. Soporte operativo y colaboración transversal

  • Administrar repositorios, controles y documentación del área.
  • Colaborar con distintas áreas en temas relacionados con procesos y operación.
  • Asegurar alineación entre procesos, sistemas y requerimientos internos o regulatorios.

Competencias técnicas

  • Conocimientos en análisis y rediseño de procesos (BPM).
  • Experiencia en modelado de workflows y manejo de estructuras JSON.
  • Conocimientos básicos de automatización de procesos o flujos operativos.
  • Capacidad para entender requerimientos funcionales y llevarlos a procesos claros.
  • Manejo intermedio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y herramientas de diagramación.
  • Deseable: nociones básicas de APIs, lógica condicional o integraciones.
  • Deseable: experiencia o familiaridad con la industria de pagos, fintech o servicios financieros.

  • Pensamiento analítico y enfoque práctico.
  • Organización y buena administración del tiempo.
  • Comunicación clara, tanto escrita como verbal.
  • Proactividad y sentido de responsabilidad.
