As our Junior Software Developer, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experienced developers to build and maintain applications and integrations supporting key business processes;
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions;
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices under the guidance of senior team members;
- Contribute to improving application quality, reliability, and performance;
- Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, and incident resolution activities;
- Participate in team ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives;
- Document solutions, processes, and technical changes where required.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Genuine interest in software development and technology;
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts;
- Experience or knowledge of Java;
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;
- Understanding of databases and SQL.
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Knowledge of REST APIs;
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems;
- Basic understanding of unit testing concepts;
- Experience gained through university projects, internships, personal projects, or coding academies.
