Le Programme mobilise l’ensemble des plateformes et des Maisons de Kering autour d’une ambitieuse trajectoire de transformation. Comment vous allez contribuer
L’Integration Engineer rejoindra l’équipe Integration Platform du DevSecOps Studio et contribuera à l’évolution continue de la plateforme d’intégration selon un modèle AI-SDLC, intégrant l’IA comme méthode de travail de référence tout au long du cycle de vie des solutions, de leur conception à leur exploitation. Il participera à la construction et à l’évolution d’une plateforme d’intégration moderne en s’appuyant sur des pratiques d’ingénierie augmentées par l’IA, utilisée comme levier quotidien pour accélérer le développement, renforcer la qualité et améliorer l’efficacité opérationnelle.

Vos principales missions seront :
AI-Assisted Engineering & opérations augmentées
Exploiter les outils d’IA générative et les agents IA pour accélérer les activités d’ingénierie et d’exploitation, notamment le diagnostic des incidents Kafka, la corrélation des métriques, l’identification des causes racines et la génération de runbooks contextualisés.

Générer et valider des mappings d’intégration, des configurations Kafka Connect ainsi que des schémas Avro et Protobuf assistés par des LLMs, avec revue humaine sur les cas les plus critiques.

Contribuer à l’enrichissement de la base de connaissances de l’équipe (patterns d’intégration, post-mortems, ADR) dans une logique de Context Engineering, afin de rendre le contexte métier exploitable par les outils d’IA du DevSecOps Studio.

Participer aux Discovery Squads dédiées aux sujets Integration Platform et appliquer les pratiques AI-SDLC à travers des cycles d’itération assistés, la formalisation des spécifications et l’évaluation des résultats produits par l’IA.

Event Streaming (Kafka)
Exploiter, maintenir et faire évoluer les plateformes Kafka dans des environnements multi-cloud, en administrant l’ensemble de l’écosystème associé (Kafka Streams, Connect, MirrorMaker, ksqlDB, Schema Registry).

Garantir la fiabilité des flux de streaming en définissant et pilotant des SLOs, en gérant les error budgets et en suivant les métriques clés des consommateurs telles que le consumer lag, les offset gaps et les mécanismes de rebalancing.

Diagnostiquer et résoudre les incidents de streaming, tout en capitalisant sur les retours d’expérience afin de transformer chaque incident en amélioration durable via des post-mortems structurés.

API Gateway & integration
Exploiter et améliorer la plateforme API Gateway en assurant la gestion de l’authentification, du routage et du rate limiting, tout en supervisant les flux d’intégration REST, SOAP, SFTP et Batch.

Contribuer aux évolutions d’architecture et à la formalisation des Architecture Decision Records (ADR) afin de garantir la cohérence et la pérennité des solutions d’intégration.

Observabilité & fiabilité
Maintenir et faire évoluer les solutions d’observabilité en s’appuyant sur les workflows de logs Kafka et ElasticSearch, ainsi que sur les dashboards Grafana et Kibana.

Piloter la fiabilité des plateformes en identifiant de manière proactive les risques et les goulots d’étranglement, et en s’appuyant sur des indicateurs mesurables d’impact et de performance.

Communauté & collaboration
Contribuer à l’animation de la communauté de développeurs en partageant les bonnes pratiques, en organisant des ateliers et en accompagnant l’adoption des plateformes et des standards d’ingénierie.

Collaborer étroitement avec le Product Owner et les équipes partenaires afin de prioriser les évolutions, soutenir l’amélioration continue et maximiser la valeur délivrée aux utilisateurs.

Qui êtes-vous ?
Vous disposez d’au moins 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire (Integration Engineer, Platform Engineer ou Middleware Engineer) et avez développé une solide expertise des environnements d’intégration et des plateformes de streaming événementiel. Vous maîtrisez les principaux concepts et technologies du domaine et êtes capable de contribuer efficacement à la conception, à la mise en œuvre et à l’évolution de solutions d’intégration robustes et performantes.

Sur le plan technique, vous connaissez les fondamentaux :
•    Maîtrise d’Apache Kafka et de son écosystème.

•    Expérien

ce des plateformes API Gateway et maîtrise des principaux patterns d’intégration (REST, SOAP, messaging, SFTP et batch).

•    Bonne connaissance des solutions d’observabilité et de monitoring telles qu’Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana et les outils APM.

•    Maîtrise des environnements Linux ainsi que des fondamentaux réseau.

•    Expérience des pratiques Agile, ITIL et DevOps.

•    Expérience des environnements cloud et de Kubernetes.

•    Compréhension des concepts de SLO et d’error budget appliqués à la fiabilité des plateformes.

Sur les sujets d’IA Engineering, vous avez développé :
•    Pratique régulière d’un ou plusieurs outils d’AI Coding (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code ou équivalent) dans un contexte professionnel.

•    Capacité à intégrer les LLMs dans des workflows opérationnels tels que le diagnostic, la génération de configurations ou la production de documentation.

•    Bonne compréhension des concepts de Prompt Engineering et de Context Engineering appliqués à l’ingénierie de plateforme.

•    Mise en pratique de l’IA comme compétence opérationnelle du quotidien, intégrée aux modes de travail et aux processus d’ingénierie dès le premier jour.

How you will contribute
The Integration Engineer will join the Integration Platform team within the DevSecOps Studio and contribute to the continuous evolution of the integration platform through an AI-SDLC operating model, where AI serves as a core engineering practice throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from design to operations. The role will involve building and evolving a modern integration platform by leveraging AI-augmented engineering practices, using AI as a daily enabler to accelerate development, enhance quality, and improve operational efficiency.

Your main responsibilities will include:
AI-Assisted Engineering & Agumented Operations
Leverage Generative AI tools and AI agents to accelerate engineering and operational activities, including Kafka incident diagnosis, metrics correlation, root cause identification, and the generation of contextualized runbooks.

Generate and validate integration mappings, Kafka Connect configurations, and Avro/Protobuf schemas with the support of LLMs, while ensuring human review for the most critical use cases.

Contribute to the enrichment of the team's knowledge base (integration patterns, post-mortems, ADRs) through a Context Engineering approach, making business context accessible and actionable for the DevSecOps Studio's AI tools.

Participate in Discovery Squads focused on Integration Platform topics and apply AI-SDLC practices through AI-assisted iteration cycles, specification design, and evaluation of AI-generated outputs.

Event Streaming (Kafka)
Operate, maintain, and evolve Kafka platforms in multi-cloud environments, administering the entire ecosystem, including Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, MirrorMaker, ksqlDB, and Schema Registry.

Ensure the reliability of streaming flows by defining and managing SLOs, overseeing error budgets, and monitoring key consumer metrics such as consumer lag, offset gaps, and rebalancing activities.

Diagnose and resolve streaming-related incidents while capitalizing on lessons learned to transform each incident into a sustainable improvement through structured post-mortems.

API Gateway & integration
Operate and enhance the API Gateway platform by managing authentication, routing, and rate limiting capabilities, while overseeing REST, SOAP, SFTP, and Batch integration flows.

Contribute to architectural evolution and the formalization of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to ensure consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability of integration solutions.

Observability & Reliability
Maintain and enhance observability solutions by leveraging Kafka and Elasticsearch logging workflows, as well as Grafana and Kibana dashboards.

Drive platform reliability by proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks and by tracking measurable performance and impact indicators.

Community & Collaboration
Contribute to the developer community by sharing best practices, facilitating workshops, and supporting the adoption of platforms, tools, and engineering standards.

Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and partner teams to prioritize improvements, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maximize the value delivered to users.

Who you are
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role (Integration Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Middleware Engineer) and have developed strong expertise in integration environments and event streaming platforms. You have a solid command of the key concepts and technologies in this domain and can effectively contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of robust, high-performing integration solutions.

From a technical standpoint, you master the fundamentals:
•    Strong proficiency in Apache Kafka and its ecosystem.

•    Experience with API Gateway platforms and solid knowledge of key integration patterns (REST, SOAP, messaging, SFTP, and batch).

•    Good knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and APM tools.

•    Strong command of Linux environments and networking fundamentals.

•    Experience with Agile, ITIL, and DevOps practices.

•    Experience with cloud environments and Kubernetes.

•    Understanding of SLO and error budget concepts applied to platform reliability.

In the field of AI Engineering, you excel in:
•    Hands-on experience with one or more AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent) in a professional environment.

  • Build and optimize tooling to automate monitoring, diagnosis, and remediation of production incidents
  • Troubleshoot high-impact production issues in collaboration with other engineering teams
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to handle incidents and ensure service continuity
  • Implement and maintain observability solutions to monitor infrastructure and application health
  • Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle management across different environments

You will be part of a team of
5 people
, including a Manager, a Product Manager, and 3 Developers. This young team was born from the strategic split of the Database department to focus exclusively on non-relational databases. You will work on customer-facing products with modern stacks and no heavy legacy, participating in a strong dynamic of camaraderie and technical excellence.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

  • Contribute to the consolidation and development of major database products in Scaleway's product ecosystem : Redis and MongoDB.
  • Maintain the production to high standards of quality for performance, stability and resilience
  • Deploy products to new geographical regions as part of Scaleway's global expansion
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates
  • Contribute to internal documentation and the development of technical best practices
  • Participate in Agile rituals (two-week sprints) and team meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, and Sales

About You
HARD SKILLS:

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and cluster management
  • Experience with deployment tools like Helm, ArgoCD, and Flux
  • Proficiency in GoLang development preferred, but otherwise demonstrated experience in a programming language
  • Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB, or other NoSQL technologies

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong team player with a focus on cohesion and benevolence
  • Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback

Rôle
