Tasks
At Miquido, AI isn’t a gadget bolted onto the process — it’s the bet we’ve built the company around.
The last time a tool changed how code gets written this much, it was the compiler. Engineers stopped hand-writing assembly, learned to trust the machine with the tedious part, and got to spend their heads on the hard problems instead.
For us, AI is that same breakthrough. Agents take care of repetitive implementation, so you can focus on the decisions that actually matter.
Tasks
Build real mobile apps that ship to the App Store and Google Play, running on Android and iOS from one shared Kotlin codebase. No prototypes that never leave the drawer.
Work with the newest AI engineering tools and expect them to change every month. We’ll keep bringing in new ones and asking you to push them to their limits.
Build products together with clients, designers and product managers, taking part in real technical decisions.
Write modern Kotlin Multiplatform code that solves real user problems.
Help shape how we build mobile software in an AI-first environment.
How we actually work (AI-first):
Agentic coding is our default. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — whatever works best this week. We use AI because it genuinely makes us better engineers.
We keep experimenting. No processes carved in stone. We try things, measure them and keep what works.
Most of our projects run in small multidisciplinary teams of 3–5 people, where your decisions have visible impact.
But if that’s you? Then we’re curious about you, really. Here’s our Discord , where two guys named Łukasz are hanging out: one’s our AI Engineering Lead, the other our QA Lead. Come say hi, show them what you’ve been building, and just talk it through. No exam, no trick questions, two people who love this stuff, wondering what you’ve got.
Must have
Genuine curiosity. You naturally explore new tools, follow what’s happening in mobile and AI, and enjoy figuring out how things work.
English at B2 level or higher.
Strong software engineering fundamentals: OOP, functional programming, design patterns, MVVM/MVI and writing clean, maintainable code.
Commercial Android/Kotlin experience together with hands-on Kotlin Multiplatform development.
Solid understanding of Kotlin, Coroutines and KMP concepts such as expect/actual.
Experience with Compose Multiplatform or Jetpack Compose plus SwiftUI, along with enough Swift and Xcode to work across both platforms.
Familiarity with KMP libraries like Ktor, Koin and SQLDelight/Room.
Daily experience with Android Studio, Gradle and Git.
Nice to have
If you’re more senior, we’re looking for ownership rather than years spent with Kotlin Multiplatform.
What we’d love to see:
Several years of building mobile products used by real customers.
Ability to define technical direction and explain architectural trade-offs.
Ownership of production quality measured through performance, stability and business impact.
Mentoring other engineers and helping the team move faster.
Spotting risks early and proposing solutions instead of simply raising problems.
Confidence working directly with clients in English (C1).
