Qual será a sua missão:

Responsável pelo detalhamento, desenvolvimento e evolução de soluções de engenharia de dados, utilizando tecnologias, frameworks e boas práticas voltadas à construção de pipelines, processamento e disponibilização de dados. Propor continuamente melhorias nas soluções desenvolvidas pelo time, buscando maior qualidade, eficiência, escalabilidade e confiabilidade. Prezar pela clareza, padronização e simplificação dos códigos e processos, garantindo fácil manutenção e evolução das soluções de dados. Atuar também no monitoramento dos pipelines e ambientes de dados, contribuindo para a disponibilidade, observabilidade e qualidade das informações disponibilizadas.

Como Será o Seu Dia a Dia

• Analisar, mapear e identificar, em conjunto com os times de Produto e demais áreas envolvidas, necessidades e demandas relacionadas a dados, utilizando metodologias ágeis para apoiar a definição, priorização e planejamento das entregas.
• Construir e participar de refinamentos técnicos, identificando alternativas de solução, dependências, riscos e possibilidades de divisão das demandas, considerando aspectos como arquitetura, integração, processamento, armazenamento, qualidade e disponibilização dos dados.
• Buscar proativamente ferramentas, tecnologias e boas práticas que apoiem as atividades de Engenharia de Dados, contribuindo para a evolução técnica do time, automação de processos e aumento da eficiênciae confiabilidade das soluções desenvolvidas.
• Contribuir com o desenvolvimento de soluções de Engenharia de Dados, construindo e evoluindo pipelines, integrações e processos de transformação de dados, utilizando testes e mecanismos de validação que garantam a qualidade e confiabilidade das entregas.
• Desenvolver, monitorar e prestar suporte às soluções e pipelines de dados em ambiente produtivo, atuando na identificação e resolução de falhas e garantindo a disponibilidade e continuidade dos processos.
• Identificar oportunidades de melhoria nos processos, arquiteturas e fluxos de dados, trabalhando na implementação de soluções que promovam maior eficiência, automação, escalabilidade e confiabilidade.
• Participar da revisão de código e das soluções desenvolvidas por outros membros do time, contribuindo para a padronização, qualidade, manutenibilidade e adoção de boas práticas de Engenharia de Dados.

Requirements
O que você precisa para assumir o desafio:

Position Overview:

The FactSet Workstation Application is a product that helps financial professionals access high-quality data, uncover deeper research ideas, and power intelligent analytics in one seamless experience. In this Software Engineering I role, your responsibilities will center around the build and deployment systems, supporting apps, and infrastructure utilized by the developers working directly on the FactSet Workstation Application.

Some aspects of this job include building robust and secure pipelines to deliver FactSet's primary Windows Workstation application, migrating legacy software and processes to modern frameworks and libraries, and automating build and deployment infrastructure to allow developers to focus on code, not on process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and optimize Windows-based FactSet build systems
• Design and build self-service APIs and web portals
• Automate, maintain, and monitor infrastructure to support critical Windows-based FactSet workflows
• Participation in an on-call rotation for rare, critical incidents (historically occurring once every few years)
• Engage with high-level FactSet developers in monthly round tables to collaborate on project strategy and prioritization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
• Basic Windows troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a high-level programming language (such as C#, Python, Go, C++, Java, Perl, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with C# and/or Perl
• Expose to common cloud infrastructure components (AWS preferred)

As a member of the AI model team, you will drive innovation in architecture development for cutting-edge models of various scales, including small, large, and multi-modal systems. Your work will enhance intelligence, improve efficiency, and introduce new capabilities to advance the field.

You will have a deep expertise in Large Language Model (LLM) and Multi-Modal architectures, a strong grasp of pre-training optimization, and a hands-on, research-driven approach. Your mission is to explore and implement novel techniques and algorithms that lead to groundbreaking advancements: multi-modal data curation and alignment, strengthening baselines, and identifying and resolving existing pre-training bottlenecks to push the limits of cross-modal AI performance.

Responsibilities

• Large-Scale Pre-Training: Conduct foundational pre-training for LLMs and Multi-Modal models (integrating text, vision, audio, or other modalities) on large, distributed servers equipped with multi-nodes & thousands of NVIDIA GPUs.
• Architecture & Alignment Innovation: Design, prototype, and scale innovative architectures, tokenizers, and cross-modal alignment layers to enhance model intelligence and multi-modal understanding.
• Data Strategy: Source, filter, and curate massive-scale textual and multi-modal datasets, establishing robust data pipelines for efficient pre-training.
• Experimental Research: Independently and collaboratively execute experiments, analyze results, and refine training methodologies for optimal performance and token efficiency.
• Optimization & Debugging: Investigate, debug, and eliminate bottlenecks in model efficiency, computational performance, and multi-modal alignment stability during long training runs.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Solutions Engineer who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical owner of the merchant relationship from first sales conversation through live integration and beyond. You will focus on our enterprise and strategic merchants: the national retailers and high-volume brands running custom, hand-built integrations across web, mobile app, and in-store. These are our most complex merchants and our largest revenue drivers, and they do not come with an off-the-shelf plugin.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope what a merchant needs, design the integration that gets them there, and stay with them once they are live. You own the technical side of pre-sales: demos, architecture discussions, RFP responses, and solution proposals. When a merchant needs something custom, you define the requirement, shape the solution with our engineering team, and drive it to launch.

This is a customer-facing engineering role. You will spend as much time on calls with merchant developers as you will in documentation and test environments, and you need to be credible in both rooms.

This role combines technical expertise and sales acumen to support sales teams. They work closely with the sales team and clients, understanding customer needs and translating them into effective, tailored solutions. Acting as a bridge between technical and business functions, a Solutions Engineer not only helps demonstrate and implement the product's capabilities but also communicates complex technical details in a way that resonates with clients. Their role requires both the ability to engage with customers directly and the technical know-how to ensure the product meets client requirements effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Own technical discovery for prospective merchants: understand their stack, their checkout flow, and their constraints, then map them to the right Sezzle integration path
• Lead product demos and technical presentations for merchant engineering and business stakeholders
• Design integration solutions across our API, SDKs, and platform plugins (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix, and custom builds)
• Write technical proposals and complete RFP and security questionnaire responses
• Support merchant mobile app integrations: SDK implementation, in-app checkout, and native versus webview handoff
• Validate integrations in sandbox and in production before launch, including checkout flow, widget and messaging placement, redirect and handoff behavior, and settlement
• Troubleshoot live integration issues alongside Support and Engineering, and own the technical narrative back to the merchant
• Translate recurring merchant needs into product feedback, and push for the fixes that unblock revenue
• Build and maintain integration documentation, runbooks, and internal enablement so the team scales without you in every call
• Act as the trusted technical advisor for your merchants after launch, spotting optimization opportunities they haven't asked for yet

What We Look For:

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions engineering, sales engineering, implementation, solutions architecture, or technical account management
• Experience with mobile SDK integrations on iOS and Android, including the ability to guide merchant mobile developers through implementation and debug what breaks
• Experience supporting enterprise merchants through complex, multi-stakeholder integrations with custom-built commerce stacks
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and reading API documentation critically
• Working knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one major e-commerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix) and how payment methods integrate into it
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows: cart, checkout, payment authorization and capture, refunds, shipping, and product management
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, and business context clearly to engineers
• Strong written communication. You will produce documentation and proposals that merchants and internal teams rely on
• Comfort managing several merchant integrations at once in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to read code in at least one language well enough to debug a merchant's implementation
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively in day-to-day work, including research, technical documentation, problem-solving, and workflow automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a payments company, PSP, or BNPL provider
• Familiarity with payment gateway architecture and how alternative payment methods are surfaced at checkout
• Experience with in-store or omnichannel payment integrations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
