About This Role
We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to guide and contribute to the delivery of high-quality digital solutions supporting German Partner Markets within Customer Value Management and Marketing. This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibility, enabling the individual to shape technical direction while supporting a team of developers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of full stack developers, building a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Provide technical direction, guidance, and best practice standards across development, design, and user experience
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full stack applications based on business and partner requirements
  • Act as a key escalation point and build strong relationships with stakeholders across markets and functions
  • Coordinate and deliver development projects with a focus on quality, timeliness, and business value
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support production systems, diagnose issues, and ensure service continuity with minimal customer impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and Operations

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in full stack development with a strong track record of delivering high-value digital solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, coach, and collaborate within technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing practices including unit, UI, and end-to-end testing
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach to complex technical challenges
  • Degree-level education or equivalent practical experience

Purpose of the Job

We are growing our team to support new client implementation projects in the retail pricing and promotions space. We’re looking for a Solution Engineer who can turn functional requirements into a working, well-integrated platform configuration — someone equally comfortable configuring the P&P platform and writing the custom logic that makes a client’s setup work exactly as intended.

What You'll Do

Configure the P&P platform end to end, across both frontend and backend

What We Need

German (native or C1) and business-level English

The team you’ll be working with: Mitigation Requirements
At Wise, we’re on a mission to make financial services faster, simpler, and more accessible for everyone. To achieve our mission, we also need to safeguard our platform against financial crime and ensure our customers’ money are safe. The Mitigation Requirements team plays a critical role in this by providing a highly scalable system to orchestrate which information we need to request from our customers, and then have automations and Servicing Agents to review it.

We are developing the infrastructure that provides teams at Wise with insights into the operational cost and risk associated with their ownership of the Wise product. This empowers them to enhance the product, reducing Wise's cost for customers and enabling a smoother experience when additional information is required from them. The infrastructure also enables automation of Servicing processes through a rich API in a distributed environment, and it is the core connection between customers and our Servicing agents.
