Every day, millions of banking transactions depend on our mainframe platform. Behind the scenes, IMS helps keep these services running smoothly and reliably.
As a Mainframe System Engineer, you help maintain and improve one of the most important parts of our infrastructure. You work with IMS systems and support tools that process critical business transactions across multiple platforms.
You take part in system maintenance, technical releases, and operational support activities. You work closely with experienced colleagues who help you build knowledge in IMS and related technologies such as Db2 and MQ.

What we expect from You:
- You do not need experience with IMS from day one. We are looking for someone with a mainframe background and a genuine interest in learning new technologies. If you enjoy understanding how large systems work, this role offers plenty of opportunities for growth.
- z/OS experience:
You understand the basics of a z/OS environment. - Mainframe knowledge:
You have experience working with mainframe technologies. - Interest in or knowledge of IMS:
You are eager to develop expertise in IMS transaction management. - Scripting skills:
Experience with REXX, JCL, SAS or similar technologies is a plus. - System administration:
You understand operational activities such as maintenance, backup and recovery. - Documentation and planning:
You organize your work clearly and keep information up to date. - Learning mindset:
You enjoy growing your knowledge and sharing it with others. - You enjoy learning and exploring new technology.

What you can expect during the recruitment process:
- After sending your CV in English, expect a three-round interview process, one online with our local recruiter, one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the final round is in person at our office in Budapest (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better.
