Are you ready to take on a key role in a dynamic, fast-growing company? If you have a passion for reliability, scalability and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Who We Are

Founded in 2010, Novibet is an established GameTech company operating in Europe, the Americas, and ROW countries (Greece, Brazil, Ireland, Finland, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Cyprus, and New Zealand), with hubs in Greece, Malta, Brazil, and Mexico and 1200+ employees across all countries of operation. Join us, and you will be part of a team of over 1,200 people worldwide that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.

What you will work on

  • Serve as the on-call first responder for platform incidents.
  • Lead triage, coordinate with DevOps and Engineering, and drive resolution end to end.
  • Own post-incident reviews through to completion — close the root cause, not just the ticket.
  • Own the full observability stack: alerting, dashboards, log aggregation, and distributed tracing.
  • Define what "healthy" looks like for every critical service and enforce those standards.
  • Continuously refine alert thresholds to eliminate noise and improve signal quality.
  • Systematically reduce the frequency and blast radius of future incidents — not just firefight.
  • Analyse trends, track SLI/SLO performance, and identify chronic pain points.
  • Drive platform improvements in configuration, architecture, and operational behaviour.
  • Identify manual, repetitive operational work and eliminate it.
  • Build runbooks, self-healing scripts, and automated remediation tooling.
  • Make the whole organisation more resilient, not just the team more efficient.
  • Define and track Service Level Indicators and Objectives in partnership with Service Managers.
  • Act as the technical voice in reliability commitment conversations.
  • Work upstream with Engineers to bake reliability into releases, capacity planning, and load testing.
  • Collaborate downstream with DevOps on infrastructure hardening.
  • Participate in release planning as a reliability gate before critical deployments.

What you bring

  • 3+ years in an SRE, platform engineering, or senior TechOps role.
  • Hands-on experience owning an on-call rotation.
  • Track record of driving post-incident reviews and delivering on action items.
  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, or another regulated 24/7 industry is a significant advantage.
  • Calm under pressure — makes good decisions at 3am when things are on fire.
  • Ownership-driven — doesn't wait to be asked.
  • Analytically curious — wants to understand why things break, not just fix them.
  • Cares about making the whole platform better, not just their slice of it.

We truly value our people at Novibet! Within our vibrant, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, we encourage everyone to reach their full potential while enjoying every step of the journey.

Here's how we make that happen:
