About The Practice
As part of our partnerships with various clients, we are currently expanding our Murex team to keep pace with the growing demand in this area. Our Murex consultants work on projects involving settlement processes, payment systems, confirmations, accounting integration, and regulatory reporting.

Each project typically lasts 12 to 18 months, providing valuable experience with Murex’s pre-trade and posttrade modules across diverse asset classes. As a firm, we offer a comprehensive range of Murex services, including business requirement analysis, system configuration, workflow optimization, and end-to-end process support.

Roles and Responsibilities

System Integration and Configuration

Collaborate with clients to configure and integrate the Murex platform according to their specific business and functional needs.
Implement and configure Murex modules, ensuring efficient integration of Front, Middle, and Back Office operations.
Customise workflows, settings, and interfaces to align with client requirements for trading, risk management, and reporting.

Implementation and Interface Development

Assist in the end-to-end implementation of Murex, ensuring smooth integration with third-party systems and data feeds.
Design and develop interfaces for market data, trade feeds, and risk systems.
Ensure accurate data migration and transformation between Murex and external systems, including trade booking, settlement, and reporting platforms.

Client Support and Training

Provide ongoing support to clients during and after the Murex implementation phase.
Troubleshoot integration-related issues and provide technical solutions for complex integration problems.
Deliver training to clients on Murex integration workflows and best practices, ensuring efficient system usage.

Data Management and Integrity

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data flowing through the Murex system, including pricing, trade, and market data.
Manage the setup and processing of key market data (e.g., interest rates, FX rates) across the Murex platform.
Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to maintain system accuracy.

Regulatory and Compliance Support

Assist clients in configuring Murex to meet regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, Basel III/IV, and other financial regulations.
Ensure that Murex configurations support compliance with industry standards in risk and reporting frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Front Office, Risk, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Murex solutions across departments.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and consultants to design and implement customized solutions.
Participate in project management activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality control throughout the integration process.

System Optimisation and Enhancement

Continuously optimise Murex system configurations to improve performance and ensure scalability.
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the system.
Stay up to date with the latest Murex releases and integration technologies to enhance system functionality.

The Ideal Candidate

Technical Skills

Murex Platform: In-depth knowledge of the Murex platform, particularly in system integration, interface development, and module configuration.
Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as MxML, SQL, Unix, and familiarity with XML or Python for building custom interfaces and optimizing data flows.
System Architecture: Strong understanding of system architecture, including trade capture, data mapping, workflow automation, and API integrations.
Data Management: Proficient in managing and integrating large datasets, ensuring data accuracy during migration and transformation processes across Murex and external systems

Financial Knowledge

Financial Instruments: Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments such as derivatives, fixed income, FX, and money markets, and their integration within Murex.
Regulations: Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks, such as MiFID II, EMIR, Basel III/IV, and the associated implications for trade and data integration.

Analytical Skills

System Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system integration issues and optimise workflows.
Process Optimisation: Ability to assess system performance and identify areas for automation and optimization in Murex workflows.

Communication And Interpersonal Skills

Client Interaction: Excellent communication skills to work with clients, translating complex technical concepts into understandable business terms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with IT, Front Office, Risk, and other internal teams during the integration process.

Educational Background

Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance: A degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field is typically required.
Certifications: Industry certifications like Murex Specialist Certifications, FRM (Financial Risk Manager), or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are a plus.

Experience

Murex Integration: Prior experience in Murex integration projects, including system configuration, data migration, and interface development.
Financial Services: Experience working within the financial services industry or with a financial software provider, focusing on systems integration and workflow automation.

Customer Support Engineer
to join our team in

. You will support B2B clients and colleagues across the technical and functional aspects of our products, helping investigate and resolve issues in a fast-moving brokerage environment.

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting to the root of complex problems, takes ownership from the first report through resolution, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality B2B technical and functional support to clients
Own and investigate reported issues, resolving them where possible or escalating them with clear evidence and context
Use logs, SQL, system behaviour, and application-level analysis to isolate root causes and determine next steps
Diagnose issues involving MT4/MT5 environments, plugins, gateways, liquidity bridges, operating systems, and applications
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and third parties, keeping stakeholders informed and driving issues through to resolution
Create and maintain clear documentation for both internal and external use
Continuously deepen your knowledge of forex and our platform while contributing to improvements in support quality and processes

Requirements

3+ years of experience in technical support within a brokerage or fintech environment
Good working knowledge of MT4/MT5 Manager and Administrator terminals, including plugins and gateways
Good working knowledge of liquidity bridges such as oneZero, PrimeXM, Centroid, or similar solutions
Practical SQL skills, including the ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot queries for data analysis and issue investigation
Experience providing operating-system and application-level support

About The Role
Salmon's tariff, cashback, and premium banking logic today lives split across the core banking system, individual front-ends, and separate product teams — you'll design and own the master system that unifies it.

What You'll Do

Design the technical architecture for a single tariff master system, replacing logic currently split across the core banking system, front-end implementations, and individual product teams
Own the Cashback and Tariffs Service stream end-to-end, from discovery to release, coordinating dependencies between the two services and the credit card, deposit, and premium banking teams they touch
Work in close, daily collaboration with development, QA, and the team lead across the full delivery cycle — starting with migrating existing tariffs into the master system and designing the subscription entity

What You'll Own

Own end-to-end systems analysis for the Cashback and Tariffs Service stream, from requirements gathering through release
Define functional and non-functional requirements, API contracts, and integration specs for a system that will eventually underpin every product line
Design the core entities behind the tariff master system, including how a subscription is modeled and how a tariff attaches to a customer
Coordinate dependencies between Cashback and Tariffs Service and the teams building against them
Maintain documentation in Confluence and hold the team to DOR/DOD standards
Communicate status transparently, surfacing risk and delay before they become a surprise

What Makes You a Strong Fit

Experience as a systems or business analyst in fintech or banking product teams
Strong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguity — you can design a solution independently, not just execute a spec
Experience designing API contracts and integration specifications

The position sits at the intersection of systems integration, workflow orchestration, API engineering, and data engineering.

What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using n8n and event-driven flows using Node-RED for real-time data processing, device/system connectivity, and API-based automations.
Integrate n8n and Node-RED workflows with Databricks jobs, notebooks, SQL warehouses, and REST APIs.
Build automations that trigger Databricks workloads, monitor job status, handle retries, and route outputs to downstream systems.

Strong hands-on experience with n8n in production environments.
Good practical experience with Node-RED for event-driven flows, REST integrations, and workflow development.
Good practical experience with Databricks, especially jobs, notebooks, SQL, and platform/API integration.
