We are looking for a highly skilled
Procurement Engineer (SAP)
to join our team.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SAP Master Data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of material and vendor records
  • Create, classify, code, and update material master records for a wide range of products and materials within SAP
  • Monitor and improve data quality by identifying duplicates, inaccuracies, missing information, and outdated records
  • Manage procurement processes within SAP, including creation and tracking of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Manage and coordinate all project certification packages, including material certificates, supplier documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with technical and financial departments to ensure alignment of procurement processes through SAP
  • Prepare reports and perform spend analysis, cost tracking and budget monitoring
  • Enhance and optimize procurement workflows and processes within SAP

Job Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and cost control, preferably in the Construction industry
  • Proven working experience with SAP (MM/PS modules) is a prerequisite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure data and control processes
  • Excellent command of MS-Office Suite
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

As part of Data & AI practice, you will combine AI & ML with data, analytics and automation under a bold strategic vision to transform business in a very pragmatic way, sparking digital metamorphoses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate globally with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define robust data architecture and modeling requirements.

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to integrate data from various sources, ensuring high data quality and reliability.

  • Adhere to software engineering best practices for maintainable, scalable, and robust data solutions.

  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidelines to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Communicate complex technical solutions to senior management and diverse stakeholders effectively.

  • Contribute to sales activities through data and platform architecture expertise

  • Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to internal initiatives, R&D, and business development projects.

  • Research, design, build, and implement Machine Learning systems, and maintain, and improve existing ones

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields is strongly recommended.

  • Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, CNCF/Kubernetes or Databricks certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability.

  • 3+ years in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on cloud environments - AWS, GCP, Azure, or Cloud Native platforms.

  • Expertise in designing, developing, and managing scalable, end-to-end data pipelines (ADF, Airflow or dbt,).

  • Proficient in Big Data Platforms (Hadoop, Databricks, Hive, Kafka, Apache Iceberg or Microsoft Fabric), Data Warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, BigQuery etc.) and lakehouses (Delta Lake, Apache Hudi)

  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python and Pyspark with strong skills in writing scalable, readable and maintainable code using object-oriented programming concept.

  • Implement DevOps practices, including Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to enhance automation and streamline deployments.

  • Experience in project management frameworks such as Waterfall or Agile.

  • Knowledge in MLOps practices, utilizing MLflow for experiment tracking, model registry, model evaluation, and model serving.

  • Ability to collaborate in multinational environments.

  • Willingness to travel and proficiency in Greek and English.

Considered a plus:

  • Experience with different data execution paradigms, including low latency/streaming, batch, and micro-batch processing (Apache Kafka, Databricks Streaming processing, Apache StreamSets).

  • Knowledge of data management frameworks (data governance, data quality, data security, data dictionary, metadata management) with tools like Databricks Unity Catalog, Apache Atlas, Informatica etc.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of API gateway and service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio).

  • Familiarity working with Linux-based operating systems.

  • Familiarity with working with REST APIs.

About This Role

Cilium Tetragon is a flexible, Kubernetes-aware security tool, with real-time observability and enforcement. Leveraging the power of eBPF, Tetragon offers a low-overhead, in kernel solution that enhances security posture by monitoring system behaviors such as process executions, system call activities, and both network and file access events.

Tetragon Threat Detection Engineers primarily focus on creating and maintaining

Tetragon runtime security policies, based on the latest threat intelligence, vulnerability disclosures, and their own research.

Policies can act either as a mitigation to known vulnerabilities or as monitoring and protection against unknown security issues.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies to ensure customers have good visibility of suspicious activity on their infrastructure and are protected against the latest emerging threats
  • Help design frameworks and architectures that allow customers to easily consume policies and understand their overall security posture
  • Monitor vulnerability disclosures (CVEs) and the latest threat intelligence to develop Tetragon runtime security policies
  • Work with software engineers at Isovalent and Cisco to improve and enhance the capabilities of Tetragon security policies
  • Interact with solution architects and customers as necessary to support and deploy Tetragon security policies in production

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in threat and/or vulnerability research
  • 3+ years of experience in developing security detections at scale, for use in a wide range of environments
  • 3+ years of experience working on Linux system security (e.g., capabilities, LSMs, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with eBPF (extended Berkeley Packet Filter) and its applications in security.

Experience with the cloud-native ecosystem (containers, Kubernetes, etc.) and their Linux implementation (e.g., Linux cgroups, namespaces)
