As
Product Assurance Engineer – Solar Arrays (f/m/d)
, you will be responsible for building and maintaining that trust. You will own the quality infrastructure behind Dcubed's Solar Array products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, aerospace standards, and internal processes throughout development, qualification, manufacturing, and delivery.

From incoming inspections and NCR management to customer documentation, audits, configuration control, and continuous improvement, you will help shape the systems that enable Dcubed to deliver reliable space hardware at scale.

Responsibilities

Product Assurance & Quality Management

  • Own and maintain the Solar Array Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, AS9100, and applicable aerospace standards.
  • Act as the independent Product Assurance representative throughout the product lifecycle, promoting quality, compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement.

Inspection, Suppliers & Configuration Control

  • Own incoming inspections, supplier quality activities, and product traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective configuration control of hardware, drawings, procedures, and manufacturing records, and manage the release of approved documentation.

NCR & Risk Management

  • Own the NCR process from identification through closure, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and trend monitoring.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation activities related to product quality, manufacturing processes, supplier performance, and hardware reliability.

Documentation & Customer Assurance

  • Own customer quality documentation, compliance records, inspection reports, certificates of conformity, and manufacturing data packages.
  • Support customer reviews, audits, qualification campaigns, and hardware acceptance activities.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Support internal and external audits, certification activities, and ongoing maturation of dcubed's quality infrastructure.
  • Monitor quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across development, qualification, and manufacturing activities.

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Management.
  • Experience working in aerospace, space, aviation, automotive, medical, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with inspections, non-conformance management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Experience supporting audits and maintaining structured quality systems.
  • Eligible to work in Germany.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements and their practical implementation.
  • Experience with incoming inspection, NCR management, CAPA processes, traceability, and configuration control.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing documentation, and inspection records.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, integration, testing, qualification, and customer acceptance activities.
  • Strong digital mindset with the ability to leverage AI-powered tools to streamline documentation, reporting, and quality processes.

Descripción:

Apoyar al área de Procesos de Negocio en el análisis, diseño, documentación y mejora de procesos operativos, asegurando que las iniciativas del área se ejecuten de forma ordenada, clara y alineada a las necesidades del negocio.

El rol tiene un fuerte componente operativo, pero también requiere criterio para proponer mejoras, priorizar iniciativas y servir como punto de conexión entre negocio, operaciones y tecnología.

Responsabilidades principales:

1. Análisis y documentación de procesos

  • Levantar información con diferentes áreas internas (Operaciones, Tecnología, Cumplimiento, Legal, Comercial, Finanzas).
  • Documentar procesos actuales y futuros (As-Is / To-Be).
  • Elaborar diagramas, flujos y documentación de procesos y reglas de negocio.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella, riesgos operativos y oportunidades de mejora.

2. Diseño y creación de workflows

  • Diseñar y mantener workflows operativos para la gestión o automatización de procesos.
  • Crear y actualizar workflows en archivos JSON, incluyendo validaciones y reglas básicas.
  • Trabajar en conjunto con áreas técnicas para la implementación de estos flujos en sistemas internos.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales y asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los workflows.
  • Documentar la lógica y reglas de cada flujo.

3. Gestión y seguimiento de iniciativas

  • Dar seguimiento a planes de trabajo, tareas y pendientes del área.
  • Coordinar reuniones, preparar minutas y dar seguimiento a acuerdos.
  • Identificar dependencias con otras áreas y alertar riesgos o bloqueos.
  • Apoyar en la priorización de iniciativas de acuerdo con impacto y esfuerzo.

4. Gestión de procesos y mejora continua

  • Tratar los procesos y workflows como activos vivos del negocio, sujetos a mejora constante.
  • Proponer ajustes o mejoras con base en la operación diaria y necesidades del negocio.
  • Traducir requerimientos del negocio en definiciones claras para su implementación.
  • Dar seguimiento a cambios y asegurar que los procesos cumplan con el objetivo para el que fueron diseñados.

5. Análisis operativo y preparación de entregables

  • Analizar información relacionada con procesos, indicadores operativos y desempeño de flujos.
  • Preparar reportes, presentaciones y resúmenes ejecutivos para la gerencia.
  • Mantener control documental de las iniciativas del área.

6. Soporte operativo y colaboración transversal

  • Administrar repositorios, controles y documentación del área.
  • Colaborar con distintas áreas en temas relacionados con procesos y operación.
  • Asegurar alineación entre procesos, sistemas y requerimientos internos o regulatorios.

Competencias técnicas

  • Conocimientos en análisis y rediseño de procesos (BPM).
  • Experiencia en modelado de workflows y manejo de estructuras JSON.
  • Conocimientos básicos de automatización de procesos o flujos operativos.
  • Capacidad para entender requerimientos funcionales y llevarlos a procesos claros.
  • Manejo intermedio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y herramientas de diagramación.
  • Deseable: nociones básicas de APIs, lógica condicional o integraciones.
  • Deseable: experiencia o familiaridad con la industria de pagos, fintech o servicios financieros.
