Why This Role Matters
As a Production Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of ICEYE’s external manufacturing ecosystem. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.

As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring including oil-spill detection, and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.

  • Define and communicate technical and quality requirements to suppliers, ensuring clear understanding and consistent compliance across the supply chain
  • Monitor supplier performance through quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics, driving corrective and continuous improvement actions where needed
  • Manage supplier change requests, part approvals, process approvals, and configuration control activities together with Engineering and Configuration Management teams
  • Lead supplier part qualification activities to ensure compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory requirements before production release
  • Identify and proactively mitigate supplier-related risks to support continuity of supply, product quality, and delivery performance
  • Collaborate closely with Design and AIT Engineering teams to improve manufacturability and inspectability of electronic assemblies and components
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances, deviation requests, and waiver management

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience in supplier quality management for high-reliability electronics, including audits, qualification activities, and supplier performance management
