The opportunity
The Production Support Team is responsible for triaging, analyzing, and resolving production issues across the iEnvision platform and associated services. This role serves as a critical function for ensuring system stability and reliability, combining rapid operational response with deep technical investigation.
This position requires the ability to analyze issues across application code, data, and infrastructure layers, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Security to drive root cause resolution and continuous improvement.

Role responsibilities
- Production Incident Triage
- Monitor application health using observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, logs, dashboards) to proactively identify issues
- Perform triage including severity classification, scope assessment, and business impact analysis
- Prioritize and route incidents appropriately
- Participate in major incident management
- Troubleshooting & Diagnosis
- Investigate issues using logs, metrics, traces, and telemetry
- Diagnose problems across the full stack: application, integration, data, and platform layers
- Determine whether root cause lies in code, configuration, data, or infrastructure
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Code-Level Analysis
- Navigate and analyze the codebase using IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ) to trace execution paths
- Read and interpret Java and JSF-based application code to understand behavior and identify defects
- Analyze frameworks and libraries such as Hibernate, Hazelcast, and Lucene
- Perform database analysis to identify data inconsistencies or anomalies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate findings and drive resolution
- Issue Resolution
- Implement fixes for known issues including configuration changes, restarts, or data corrections
- Support production changes, hotfixes, and controlled deployments
- Execute runbooks and standard procedures
- Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in post-incident RCA reviews
- Document findings and recommend corrective actions
- Identify recurring issues and propose permanent fixes
- Monitoring & Observability
- Leverage monitoring tools to detect anomalies and performance issues
- Refine alerting to reduce noise and improve signal
- Enhance visibility into system performance and trends
Do you have what we are looking for?
Skills & expertise
- Strong understanding of modern application architecture (monolithic, microservices, APIs, distributed systems)
- Experience with application monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace preferred)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills and use of AI to aid in troubleshooting and resolution
- Ability to read and navigate Java-based codebases
- Proficiency using IDEs such as IntelliJ for debugging and code tracing
- Working knowledge of enterprise Java frameworks and libraries including ORM (Hibernate), caching (Hazelcast), and search/indexing (Lucene)
- Strong SQL skills with ability to investigate and analyze production data issues
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot across application, data, and infrastructure layers
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JVM diagnostics, including thread analysis and heap dump analysis
- Familiarity with authentication and integration patterns (OAuth, AWS Cognito)
- Experience supporting highly integrated SaaS platforms
