What you’ll do

Role Purpose:
We are seeking an AI Engineer with strong expertise in Generative & Agentic AI to help design and implement advanced AI models that solve real business problems. You will work closely with technical leads, product owners, and business units to develop robust GenAI and AgenticAI solutions, contributing across the full lifecycle from research to deployment.

Job Responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Develop and integrate Generative AI models
  (LLMs, multimodal models) using OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source alternatives
• Build
  agentic workflows
  (single-agent and basic multi-agent) using different frameworks
• Implement
  tool-use and memory
  for agents; integrate
  MCP Servers
  for standardized tool interoperability
• Collaborate with senior engineers on
  A2A (Agent-to-Agent)
  communication patterns for multi-agent coordination
• Ensure
  Responsible AI practices
  : prompt injection defences, PII redaction, and compliance with security standards.
• Deploy AI services on cloud or containerized environments (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes)
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI applications using observability tools (Datadog)
• Document solutions and contribute to
  knowledge sharing
  within the team
• Participate in every aspect of development and implementation, collaborate with end users (product owners) to fully understand business requirements
• Work in an agile team environment, progress report in daily SCRUM stand-ups
• Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures
• Support testing activities (functional and non-functional tests in all relevant project phases)
• Investigate and fix defects and incidents during development and application lifecycle
• Prepare release packages for test and production environment
• Manage incidents as level two and level three support
• Manage problems as level two and level three support

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Proficient in English both spoken and written
• Experience in building REST APIs & Cloud Native Microservices
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot
• Understanding of Docker & Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD supporting tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub etc.)
• Good knowledge of Network Communication/Integration protocols (SOAP, REST JSON)
• Unit testing, including use of mocking frameworks

Who we are looking for
As
Senior Infrastructure Specialist
you work across all layers of IT to ensure new solutions, IT assets and services are introduced sustainably and securely - thereby driving the delivery of IT infrastructure for our businesses.

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant field of studies or completed vocational training as well as several years of relevant on-the-job experience;
• Knowledge e.g. of IT infrastructure, application management, databases, cloud, network, security, IAM, monitoring or other areas and proficiency at picking up new concepts and technology at a rapid pace;
• Experience in structuring, presenting and communicating your work results with stakeholders at all levels;
• Very strong ownership of your priorities, work structure and task management;
• Proficiency in English.

Your future role

• Design:
  You create the architecture for our digital services to ensure compliance with our policies and the fit into the Deloitte environment - looking at hosting, network, user access, data retention and all other aspects of solution design including those of sustainable operations.
• Analyze:
  Design patterns, suppliers, products - you consider their effectiveness in addressing our functional as well as quality requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Plan:
  During your projects, you create estimates for effort as well as implementation plans
• Delivery:
  Together with your SA team, you act as the technical sub-project lead, responsible for coordinating and driving implementation together with subject matter experts and operations teams.
• Share
