Role description

About The Company
Monri Payments d.o.o. is a leader among payment solution providers, as well as in delivering complete software solutions for business and point-of-sale management in the hospitality industry (i.e. cafés, restaurants, and clubs). Our solutions are used daily at more than 4,000+ locations across Croatia. We continuously work on improving our products, and our strategy is to keep growing while always offering the best support to our current and future clients.

About The Role
As a member of the development team, you'll take care of our own products in the hospitality and hotel management sector. Specifically, you'll take part in defining the architecture and implementing our solutions, with the chance to apply best practices across the full cycle, from documentation through to production. The technologies you'll work with are a combination of proven best practices and reliable trends (e.g. .NET Core, Blazor, cloud technologies). On top of that, you'll be able to keep growing your skills by working alongside genuine experts in modern .NET development.

What We Expect From You

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies
  • Experience with Blazor is a strong plus
  • Comfortable taking ownership of features and contributing to architectural decisions
  • Solid organizational and analytical skills
  • Independence and a sense of responsibility in your work
  • Strong team collaboration and team spirit
  • Strong English skills

We're primarily looking for a mid-level developer, but if you bring more experience and are looking for a role with greater technical ownership, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
  • Internal technical meetings and chances to learn from our many years of experience
  • Annual salary review
  • A young, encouraging, and pleasant working environment
  • A work culture that encourages trying new solutions and treats mistakes as valuable learning opportunities
  • A hybrid work model
  • Refreshments in the office (coffee, tea, fruit, etc.)
  • Private helath insurance

Bring your talent, passion, and ideas—we'll provide the opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities
Ready to Define How AI Agents Are Built and Adopted Across an Entire Engineering Organization?
Why This Role Matters
Most companies are still figuring out what AI-native engineering actually looks like in practice. This role builds it. As the Sr. Lead Software Engineer on the AI Enablement team, you set the technical direction for the Agentic Development Platform — designing the agents, patterns, and tooling that change how Personify Health's engineers work every day. The impact isn't limited to one team or one product; it scales across the entire software development lifecycle.

What You'll Actually Do
Lead the Agentic Development Platform:
Own the technical implementation end-to-end — designing and building AI agents and developer productivity capabilities that integrate directly into engineering workflows across the SDLC.

Set engineering patterns and standards:
Establish the architecture, technical standards, and best practices that other engineers follow when building AI-native developer tooling.

Drive architecture and roadmap decisions:
Represent the AI Enablement team's engineering perspective in cross-team architecture discussions, influencing technical direction beyond your immediate scope.

Identify and eliminate workflow inefficiencies:
Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to surface development pain points and implement scalable, AI-assisted solutions.

Mentor engineers on AI adoption:
Guide engineers through hands-on technical mentorship, accelerating AI adoption and elevating the team's overall capability in building with LLMs and AI tooling.

Own complex problem resolution:
Investigate and troubleshoot difficult technical issues across internal tooling and platform services, driving them to resolution.

Contribute to sprint planning and grooming:
Help prioritize and refine technical initiatives, define implementation details, and keep delivery moving with clarity and focus

Qualifications
What You Bring to Our Team
Education & Experience

  • 6+ years of software development experience, including leading technical initiatives or providing technical direction to other engineers
  • Hands-on experience designing and building AI agents, LLM-based solutions, AI-assisted development tools, or AI integrations — including defining architecture and patterns for others to follow
  • Track record of mentoring engineers and influencing engineering practices beyond an immediate team
  • Experience with highly scalable systems in an AWS ecosystem

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, .NET, TypeScript, or similar technologies
  • Experience developing APIs and backend services
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and implement production-ready AI/LLM-based solutions
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and modern engineering workflow optimization

Our Commitment:
Personify Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. We cultivate a work environment where differences are celebrated, and employees of all backgrounds are empowered to thrive—because diversity is core to who we are and critical to our work in health and wellbeing.
