The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior Tester to lead the quality strategy for our software products. You will not only be responsible for hands-on testing but also for designing robust test frameworks, mentoring junior team members, and advocating for quality throughout the entire development lifecycle. You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to reduce technical debt and ensure we deliver high-performing, reliable software.

Day-to-day Responsibilities
Core responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Automation: Lead the design and maintenance of automated test suites to ensure high test coverage and reduce manual regression cycles.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the testing process and implement industry best practices (CI/CD integration, shift-left testing).
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for QA; provide technical mentorship to junior testers and influence architectural decisions to improve system testability.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis into complex production issues and coordinate with developers to ensure long-term resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure quality is "baked in" from the requirements phase.

Requirements (Must-Have)
Who are we looking for

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a proven track record of shipping high-quality software.
  • Automation Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
  • Architecture: Experience building or significantly maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
  • CI/CD Knowledge: Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • API & Backend: Strong experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and ability to perform database validation using SQL.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess risks and make data-driven decisions regarding release readiness.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in Performance/Load testing (JMeter, k6, or Gatling).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor a small team or group of testers.

The International Supplier Assurance Engineer (SAE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheon and our supply base. The SAE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information across other Raytheon teams. This role leads and supports the execution of Supplier Assessments, First Article Inspection verification, Source Inspection, problem resolution, and continuous improvement activities at suppliers. What You Will Do

  • Interpret quality requirements and assist suppliers in the development of robust processes
  • Ensure flow down of requirements internally and to sub-tier suppliers
  • Assess/develop supplier’s quality capabilities throughout the product life cycle
  • Identify and correct systemic performance issues
  • Implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Conduct collaborative communication with supplier, cross-business teams and customer

Qualifications You Must Have
