Intro
As a Quality Consultant, you'll drive excellence in quality assurance for our cutting-edge software suite. In this pivotal position, you'll leverage your expertise to support our insurance clients in planning, designing, and implementing various testing activities – from acceptance and integration to release and regression testing. You'll be involved throughout the entire testing lifecycle: identifying critical test requirements, crafting effective test cases, and leveraging our advanced test automation platform to implement efficient automated test cases. Your analytical skills will be vital as you monitor test execution, perform in-depth defect analysis, and deliver clear, actionable progress reports to our clients. Working hand in hand with our Test Engineering team, development specialists, and customers, you'll help deliver outstanding quality results.
Tasks
- Gather and analyze test requirements.
- Specify test cases and implement their automation using our test automation platforms (Testbench/QF-Test, Step/Oryon).
- Monitor automated test cases and analyze defects in collaboration with individual development teams.
- Create test reports for our customers and respond to customer inquiries.
- Work on projects as Test Expert, Test Automation Engineer, or Test Manager for implementation and release upgrade projects for our Adcubum Syrius suite.
- Contribute to the evolution of our Testing Service portfolio in collaboration with the Service Owner.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops in a creative, goal-oriented manner.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in (Business) Information Technology or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you have a background in insurance and finance with additional technical qualifications and a strong IT affinity.
- You have several years of experience in software testing and solid knowledge of test design, testing methodologies, and test automation tools (e.g., QF-Test, TestBench, Step, Oryon, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of health and accident insurance processes in Switzerland is an advantage.
- You combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for IT.
- You are innovative, with a strong solution-oriented mindset in complex processes and quick comprehension abilities.
- You work independently and in a structured, goal-oriented manner while being an effective team player.
- Willingness to travel for on-site work with clients in Switzerland and neighboring countries.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are a plus.
