About The Role
We’re looking for a Research engineer to join Soniox and help shape the future of real-time, multilingual speech and language AI. You’ll work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and high-performance engineering, turning state-of-the-art models into scalable, production-grade systems used by developers and enterprises worldwide.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll move fast, solve hard problems, and help bridge the gap between AI research and practical impact. If you’re excited about deploying LLMs, speech models, and real-time systems that power intelligent voice interfaces, Soniox is the place to make it happen.

In This Role, You Will

  • Turn research into reality: Deploy and optimize transformer-based models for real-time inference across speech recognition, translation, and language understanding.
  • Collaborate deeply: Work alongside researchers, engineers, and product leaders to design experiments, run evaluations, and ship features that improve user experience and performance.
  • Build and optimize pipelines: Develop robust training, fine-tuning, and evaluation pipelines to continuously improve model performance and scalability.
  • Own the system end-to-end: From prototyping new architectures to monitoring deployed models in production, you'll be responsible for building AI that works reliably in the real world.
  • Stay on the edge: Keep up with the latest advances in AI, experiment with novel techniques, and help Soniox stay ahead in accuracy, speed, and efficiency.

You Might Thrive In This Role If You

  • Have a strong background in deep learning, NLP, or speech technologies, and experience with transformer models (LLMs, ASR, MT, etc.).
  • Are proficient in PyTorch and familiar with distributed training, fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, distillation, RLHF, etc.), and inference optimization.
  • Have experience working with real-time or high-throughput systems, and care deeply about latency, reliability, and performance.
  • Enjoy fast-paced environments where priorities evolve, and you're comfortable owning loosely scoped problems from start to finish.
  • Have a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus: Experience with ASR models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or conversational reasoning systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with machining technologies such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, threading, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code, with the ability to support machining process improvements.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing documentation and apply them in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with proficiency in English and Slovenian.

Spletna stran v našem podjetju ni samo lep dizajn. Je prodajni sistem, ki mora obiskovalca jasno voditi od prvega klika do nakupa.

V tej vlogi boš imel/a pomembno nalogo pri oblikovanju spletnih strani, landing pageov, produktnih strani in drugih prodajnih elementov, ki niso samo vizualno dobri, ampak tudi izboljšujejo konverzijo. Fokus je na tem, da razumeš uporabnika, znaš razmišljati skozi prodajni vidik in oblikuješ strani, ki so jasne, prepričljive in enostavne za uporabo. Iščemo osebo, ki ima dober občutek za estetiko, hkrati pa razume, da je v e-commerce svetu dizajn neposredno povezan z rezultati.

Naloge na tej poziciji:

• oblikovanje landing pageov, produktnih strani, upsell strani in drugih prodajnih strani

• izboljševanje uporabniške izkušnje in optimizacija poti od obiska do nakupa

• priprava UX/UI dizajnov za spletno trgovino in posamezne kampanje

• sodelovanje z marketing, copywriting in development ekipo pri pripravi novih strani

• analiza obstoječih strani in iskanje priložnosti za izboljšanje konverzije

• oblikovanje testnih različic strani za A/B teste

• skrb za jasno strukturo strani, dobro hierarhijo informacij in močne CTA elemente

• spremljanje trendov na področju e-commerce dizajna, UX/UI in conversion rate optimizacije

• priprava dizajnov, ki so skladni z identiteto znamke in hkrati prilagojeni prodaji

• razmišljanje o tem, kako dizajn vpliva na klik, zaupanje, razumevanje produkta in nakupno odločitev

Kaj pričakujemo:

• izkušnje z UX/UI dizajnom, web dizajnom ali conversion designom

• zelo dober občutek za vizualno hierarhijo, estetiko, spacing, tipografijo in strukturo strani

• razumevanje e-commerce spletnih strani in nakupne poti uporabnika

• sposobnost razmišljanja skozi konverzijo, ne samo skozi izgled

• izkušnje z orodji, kot so Figma, Adobe XD ali podobna orodja

• natančnost, samostojnost in občutek za detajle

At ZCAM, we are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to strengthen our QA chapter and advance quality engineering. You will establish effective testing practices, mentor QA colleagues, improve existing test environments and help transform manual testing into robust automated workflows using Playwright, TypeScript and performance-testing tools. Working closely with developers, architects, business analysts and stakeholders, you will embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

We are seeking a QA professional with at least five years of experience and a strong hands-on background in software quality assurance, test automation and technical leadership. You should have experience mentoring QA engineers at different seniority levels, shaping quality strategy across multiple projects and influencing engineering practices.

What You Will Do

  • Shape and apply QA architecture, testing standards and quality gates across projects to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
  • Define testing strategies based on requirements and risks and oversee the full QA lifecycle from planning and execution to release sign‑off.
  • Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks and suites using Playwright and TypeScript, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Act as a key QA partner for developers, architects and business stakeholders, influencing design and delivery decisions to embed quality early and continuously.
  • Mentor QA colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, tools and responsible AI‑enabled workflows within QA chapter.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in software quality assurance, including test automation and leading QA activities within complex projects.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for web and API test automation, integrated into modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, JSON) and experience troubleshooting across distributed systems.
  • Practical experience with test management and collaboration tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira, Confluence) to communicate quality status and risks clearly.
  • Very good written and spoken English and Slovenian, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
