Requisitos

• Conocimientos básicos de Linux.
• Conocimientos básicos de Windows.
• Conocimientos básicos de redes y comunicaciones IP.
• Manejo de transferencia de archivos mediante FTP/SFTP.
• Conocimientos de herramientas de compresión y empaquetado: ZIP, 7Z, TAR, TGZ, entre otras.
• Conocimientos básicos de navegación y publicación web.
• Conocimientos de monitoreo de infraestructura y gestión de alarmas.
• Capacidad para ejecutar procedimientos operativos y runbooks.
• Orientación al cumplimiento de procesos y SLA.

Modalidad de trabajo: 100% remoto.

Jornada laboral: Esquema de cobertura 7x24, con turnos rotativos.

• Turno mañana: 06:00 a 14:00 hs.
• Turno tarde: 14:00 a 22:00 hs.
• Turno noche: 22:00 a 06:00 hs.

The opportunity
We are looking for a Network Security Technology Support Engineer, who will become part of our Security Technology Services team. In this role you will be involved in managing and coordinating activities related to network tools supporting the security posture of EY. You will be responsible for enabling new technologies and working with internal and external groups to ensure our network infrastructure is secure and robust. You will be working in a team of like-minded individuals who manage the 24x7 operation of our business-critical technology.

Your Key Responsibilities
The Network Security Technology Support Engineer will support the run state of our network infrastructure security tools and their underlying technologies. They will also be involved in the implementation of new technologies, bringing operational expertise to ensure successful launch as well as upgrading current technologies in production.

• Provide technical oversight of Information Security technologies that fall under the team’s responsibilities, confirming they are operating within agreed service levels and at peak possible performance
• Manage, drive and coordinate planned maintenance activities as well as the standardization and automation of processes and procedures for Information Security technologies.
• Represent the team in specific Project activities, including leading projects and managing the activity of others towards successful completion.
• Articulate technology issues/concerns that may emerge at any level of the technical stack, and from any component across the ecosystem, to senior business and technology leaders
• The role will require to be in an OnCall rotation for escalation of production-related issues

Skills And Attributes For Success
We are interested in people who bring support engineer experience from managing a large enterprise environment – specifically, detailed troubleshooting of issues, strong analytical skills, collaborating with various technical teams across multiple disciplines, and communicating effectively with stakeholders and internal and external customers. As a successful candidate you will have functional and/or technical experience in supporting network technologies including hands on experience on the Firewalls, Proxies, IDS/IPS tools, NetFlow monitoring tools, and python / shell scripting.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in managing network infrastructure
• The ability to train & coach staff in technical processes and practices.
• Strong English language skills – written and verbal
• Experience in project management, service introduction, and service readiness

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Deep understanding of Proxy infrastructure and Firewalls
• Deep exposure in the network infrastructure support
• CCNA/CCNP/Checkpoint/Zscaler certifications will be a plus
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL Foundations)

• Experiencia con herramientas de monitoreo como Dynatrace, PRTG, Site24x7, WhatsUp Gold, Spotlight SQL, Insight y/o Kibana.
• Conocimientos de virtualización, preferentemente VMware.
• Experiencia en gestión de eventos e incidentes.
• Perfil analítico y buenas habilidades de comunicación.
• Será valorado contar con certificaciones o conocimientos de ITIL y/o CCNA.

The opportunity
The Application Engineer will be a subject matter expert on the technical implementation of business process to which their tool(s) supports and have a good understanding of the business problem and/or requirements to be solved by partnering with application architecture, the business sponsor and business team experts to develop a cost-effective solution that is fit for purpose.

The Application Engineer is a supervisory resource responsible for managing the technical deliverables of a project within the agreed timelines and ensuring the team utilizes the appropriate methodologies to meet high quality coding standards. Application Engineer will work with other leads to implement best practices and take lessons learned into future projects. This role includes the management of technical tasks within the project plan, coordination with the project manager, and ensures the project team follows the processes for quality delivery. The expectation is that the Application Engineer is a hands-on developer who speaks with authority on the solution based upon real life scenarios and skills of code development.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Development of robust, high performance enterprise software.
• Code reviews of peer submissions.
• Provide appropriate development effort estimates for all applicable phases of planned project.
• Provide feedback regarding application engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices.
• Provide input to technical resource onboarding.
• Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions and propose the most efficient and cost-effective solution
• Maintain adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Provide support resources with guidelines to efficiently support the project during the transition to production.
• Monitors and manages adherence to Application Engineering methodologies, standards, code reviews to ensure activities are occurring as planned. Identifies potential points of contention for missed activities and notify project leadership of situation and remediation plan.
• Minimizes technical exposure and risk on projects
• Responsible for translating Design and Solution Architecture deliverables into more detailed design and build deliverables.
• Distribute technical information to the project team or to all impacted Team Leads based on the needs of the project.

Skills And Attributes For Success
To qualify for the role, you must have

• 9 to 15 years of revelant experience
• Proficiency and working experience in the following technologies:

• .NET skills (C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Windows Service)
• Database skills (SQL Server, stored procedures, views, functions, T-SQLs, SSIS, SSAS)
• Client Web Technology (JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, NodeJS, AngularJS, HTTP REST calls)
• Azure Technologies – Cloud infrastructure, Azure Services, Cloud Computing, OpenAI,

• It would be an added benefit to have the following:

• Reporting skills (Power BI, Power Query, PowerAutomate)
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple technical challenges simultaneously per project assigned.
• Proactively anticipate project issues, risks, and threats before they occur; defines the problem; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution.
• Apply judgment in implementing Application Engineering methodologies, processes, and practices to specific requirements of projects/programs which may include product design engineering, information security, code maintainability and reliability.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Ability to support and monitor your project’s progress towards project goals.
• Provides necessary supervision and support to ensure quality, adherence to application engineering methodologies, standards, leading practices, budgets, and timelines are met.
