Join PwC’s growing Retail, Consumer & Digital Consulting practice in Southeast Europe. You will support clients on commercial, operational and digital transformation challenges across retail and consumer industries.

This is a client-facing consulting role for candidates who can structure problems, analyse data, develop recommendations and independently manage project workstreams - not solely a marketing, reporting, PMO or digital-execution role.

What You’ll Do

  • Support projects across commercial strategy, digital and AI, customer experience, e-commerce, omnichannel, supply chain and operating-model transformation.
  • Own defined workstreams from analysis and hypothesis development through client-ready recommendations and implementation planning.
  • Conduct market, customer, performance and digital-maturity analyses.
  • Develop business cases, financial analyses, roadmaps, KPI frameworks and executive presentations.
  • Support workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritise digital, data and Agentic AI opportunities based on business value and feasibility.
  • Contribute to proposals, client presentations, market research and practice-development materials.
  • Work with PwC specialists across strategy, technology, data, AI, cybersecurity and workforce transformation.

What we expect from you

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, commercial excellence, transformation, e-commerce, retail operations, FMCG analytics or a comparable role.
  • Experience or strong exposure to retail, consumer goods, FMCG, e-commerce or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations - not only reports or dashboards.
  • Experience preparing business cases, executive presentations, transformation roadmaps or management decision materials.
  • Commercial and financial understanding of revenue, margin, cost, pricing, promotions, investment and operational-performance drivers.
  • Experience independently managing a workstream, analytical package or stakeholder group.
  • Interest in digital transformation, data, AI and technology-enabled business change.
  • Professional fluency in English; Croatian or another SEE language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel across SEE when needed.

Candidates from marketing, digital or operational roles should demonstrate experience influencing broader commercial, operational or technology decisions.

Apply before 15 September 2026 and start your journey atPwC.

Data Scientist

Senior Manager, Revenue Planning and Performance Analytics (m/f/d)

Sportradar

Ljubljana

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

We’re the world’s leading sports technology company, at the intersection between sports, media, and betting. More than 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries rely on our know-how and technology to boost their business.

Job Description

Driving profitable growth through commercial intelligence, structural rigor & strategic steering

ABOUT US

As the market leader in sports technology, Sportradar (NASDAQ: SRAD) is positioned at the center of the sports ecosystem. Our broader Financial Planning & Analysis organization plays a critical role in delivering extraordinary growth; we’re targeting a 15% CAGR for revenue while consistently expanding margin and cash conversion. In an industry where AI is redefining fan engagement, our finance leaders must be as sophisticated as our technology: combining financial discipline with commercial acumen and advanced analytics to unlock opportunities across a market growing at double-digit percent annually.

THE CHALLANGE

Reporting to the VP of Revenue Performance & Planning, you are the primary performance auditor of commercial outcomes. You don't just report numbers; you interrogate them and recommend the way forward to maximize value. Your mission is to identify the "why" behind performance trends that you package to a compelling story to drive a business decision. You provide the critical challenge required for driving revenue and margin, guiding business counterparts through a transformative planning process that prioritizes drivers over pure outcomes.

  • Proactive revenue performance analysis: move past outcomes to identify the specific revenue drivers (e.g., usage, churn, pricing, market) that management must focus on.
  • Revenue forecast pressure-testing: Interrogate the inputs that feed our global P&L to ensure every forecast is achievable and rooted in actionable drivers.
  • Logic refinement: Identify and dismantle broken assumptions in commercial plans and rebuild them into actionable, robust frameworks.
  • Causal synthesis: Translate complex technical and commercial data into clear, authoritative narratives for senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Driver autopsy: Conduct deep-dives into revenue beats or misses to distinguish between one-time windfalls and core structural trends.
  • Planning guidance: Lead commercial counterparts through the forecasting and budgeting process to ensure submissions are robust and logically sound.
  • Business modeling: Create elegant solutions for complex business topics like pricing elasticity and market entry costs.
  • Build automated revenue reporting using advanced analytical and reporting tools on top of data warehouse and billing data sets to steer commercial decision making

ABOUT YOU

You ask smart questions and refuse to accept surface-level explanations. You enable business success by providing the "so-what" that others miss. You are a "fixer" who enjoys the challenge of untangling messy data problems to find a clear path forward.

What we're looking for

  • Experience

: 5-8 years in a multidisciplinary finance, analytics, and/or consulting role.

  • Archetype

: We seek high proficiency in either commercial finance or commercial analytics.

  • Education

: MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.

  • Technical requirement

: SQL, Power BI / Tableau, and AI agents knowledge is essential. Experience with Python or n8n/workflow automation is highly valued.

  • Mindset

: An "accountability" mindset - you value the strength of a plan over the speed of its delivery.

Additional Information

At Sportradar, we celebrate our diverse group of hardworking employees. Sportradar is committed to ensuring equal access to its programs, facilities, and employment opportunities. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. We encourage you to apply even if you only meet most of the requirements (but not 100% of the listed criteria) – we believe skills evolve over time. If you’re willing to learn and grow with us, we invite you to join our team!

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

We are developing clinical-grade genomic solutions based on cfDNA and NGS data. We are looking for a Clinical Bioinformatics Scientist to build, validate and maintain robust algorithms for NIPT, with additional involvement in germline/clinical WGS. The role combines quantitative method development, analytical validation and regulatory documentation to ensure reliable, traceable and clinically defensible results.

Tasks

  • Develop and optimise cfDNA/NIPT algorithms for fetal signal detection, including aneuploidy (T13/18/21), sex-chromosome abnormalities, sub-chromosomal CNVs/microdeletions and fetal fraction estimation.

  • Build and maintain normalization and calibration approaches (panel-of-normals, coverage references, GC correction, z-scoring, batch/drift correction) and understand their validation impact.

  • Define QC metrics, thresholds and acceptance criteria using data-driven sensitivity/specificity evaluation.

  • Investigate analytical artifacts, pipeline failures and performance drift; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  • Support clinical WGS workflows including QC, SNV/indel/CNV/SV detection, annotation and prioritisation.

  • Ensure reproducible, version-controlled and traceable analyses suitable for clinical and regulatory environments.

  • Prepare analytical validation reports, technical documentation and method-change justifications for audits.

  • Transfer new methods into validated production environments and collaborate with molecular biology, clinical, software, QA and regulatory teams.

Requirements

Required

  • MSc or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, mathematics, computer science, genetics or related field.

  • Proven experience debugging and stabilising quantitative genomic pipelines (batch effects, bias correction, calibration, QC).

  • Strong applied statistics: normalization, calibration, robust estimators, z-scores, ROC/performance evaluation and rare-event detection.

  • Strong Python skills (numpy/pandas/scipy/statsmodels or equivalent); R knowledge is a plus.

  • Hands-on NGS experience with genomic data formats (FASTQ/BAM/CRAM, VCF, coverage data, HDF5) and large-scale datasets.

  • Experience with reproducible Linux workflows, git, testing and structured documentation.

  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear scientific and regulatory documentation.

  • Excellent scientific English and ability to work independently in interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred

  • Direct cfDNA/NIPT/prenatal genetics experience, including fetal fraction and aneuploidy/CNV detection.

  • Experience with cfDNA fragmentomics and bias-correction methods.

  • Experience in regulated IVD/clinical environments and knowledge of IVDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 or ISO 14971.

Nice to have

  • End-to-end clinical WGS pipeline experience.

  • Nextflow/Snakemake, Docker/containers, CI/CD.

  • HPC/cloud computing or parallel processing.

  • Statistical modelling or ML approaches with proven clinical performance benefits.

  • Experience with genomic data governance and sensitive clinical data.

Benefits

  • Work on clinically impactful genomic technologies with direct patient relevance.

  • Opportunity to shape algorithms, validation strategies and production pipelines.

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary experts in genomics, medicine, software and regulatory affairs.

  • Professional growth in a highly specialised bioinformatics environment.

If you are passionate about transforming complex sequencing data into reliable clinical insights and want to contribute to next-generation prenatal and genomic diagnostics, we would like to hear from you.
