Role description

🧡 About Alma

At Alma, we believe sustainable commerce depends on fair, well-balanced trade. Because finance plays a pivotal role in business, our mission is to put it back in its rightful place, serving merchants and consumers.

Our installment and deferred payment solutions help merchants boost sales by 20% or more, increase customer loyalty, and deliver a seamless shopping experience, without encouraging bad debt.

As the buy now pay later leader in France and active in 10 European countries, we've empowered more than 25,000 merchants and 10 million consumers.

With 380+ Almakers and €100M+ ARR, Alma is scaling rapidly across Europe as a member of the Next40, and we're just getting started!

👐 About the team

Revenue at Alma covers the entire customer lifecycle, from lead generation to churn. It brings together Marketing, Growth, Sales, Account Management and Partnerships, representing more than 100 talented professionals.

The Revenue Operations team helps these functions work together around shared goals, reliable data and scalable processes. It plays a central role in making Revenue more efficient and giving teams the systems, tools and insights they need to grow.

You will join the Revenue Operations team and report to the Head of Revenue Operations. You will work closely with Marketing, Growth, Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, the Central Data Team and Finance.

This position is based at Alma's Paris HQ and follows a hybrid work model.

đŸ’Œ About the job

As Revenue Systems Lead, you will own and evolve Alma's revenue systems stack, with Salesforce at its core and tools such as Gong and Aircall connected around it.

This is a business-first role. You will not simply maintain existing tools or respond to isolated requests. You will help shape the architecture, processes and governance that allow Revenue to scale across markets, products and sales motions.

You will be expected to understand ambiguous business problems, translate them into scalable systems decisions and take projects from initial scoping to implementation, without relying on a technical team to take ownership of the outcome.

Build a scalable Revenue systems architecture

  • Own Alma's Salesforce architecture, data model and roadmap, while ensuring that the wider Revenue stack works as one coherent system.
  • Translate new markets, products and sales motions into scalable system decisions rather than one-off fixes.

Partner with the business and make sound trade-offs

  • Work directly with Sales, Account Management, Partnerships and Finance to understand their needs and improve the way they operate.
  • Decide what to build, what not to build and when specialist engineering support is required.

Connect systems, data and business decisions

  • Work alongside the Central Data Team and the DWH/Looker layer to ensure that CRM data is trustworthy and useful.
  • Help reporting reflect how the business actually operates, rather than only what the systems happen to track.

Bring AI and automation into the Revenue stack

  • Use AI-assisted workflows and automation to reduce manual systems work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to Alma's emerging approach to using AI as part of everyday work and scalable business processes.

🧰 You will work with

Salesforce, Gong, Aircall, Looker, SQL, Data Warehouse, marketing automation tools, AI-assisted workflow and automation tools

đŸ§© About you

To succeed in this job

  • You have 3 to 7 years of experience in Sales Systems, Revenue Operations, Business Systems, Solutions Engineering or a similar go-to-market systems role, ideally in a high-growth or fintech environment.
  • You have deep hands-on experience administering and architecting Salesforce, or an equivalent core CRM, at scale. You understand how the CRM connects to call intelligence, telephony, marketing automation and other Revenue systems.
  • You can take an ambiguous business problem, scope it independently and deliver a reliable system or process without needing a technical team to take over.
  • You have a business-first mindset, strong ownership mentality and excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

And it will be nice if you also

  • You have prior Salesforce development experience or experience with complex CRM customisation.
  • You are comfortable using SQL or a similar language to validate data, models and system outputs.
  • You have working knowledge of Looker, a data warehouse or another BI layer.
  • You are fluent in AI tools and interested in using them to build workflows, automations and more efficient systems.

Don't meet every single requirement? At Alma, we believe great hires come from diverse paths. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity and the ability to grow as much as experience.

🧘 Your Alma experience

The culture

At Alma, collective intelligence is at the heart of the way we work. We are building an international company in a fast-growing environment, where people are encouraged to take ownership, challenge existing ways of working and build solutions that create a lasting impact.

You will have access to our Learning & Development Platform, regular feedback and opportunities to develop your expertise and career path. You will work with teams across Revenue, Product, Engineering, Data and Finance, giving you a broad perspective on how a scaling technology company operates.

We are committed to building a fair and inclusive workplace. We monitor our gender equality index and remain committed to pay equity, transparency and equal opportunities across the organisation.

The role itself

If you join Alma, you will be able to grow and have an impact by:

  • Owning the systems foundation that enables Alma's Revenue organisation to scale across markets, products and sales motions.
  • Working directly with senior business stakeholders while remaining close to the configuration, data and day-to-day reality of the systems.
  • Building a best-in-class Revenue systems environment, with the mandate, budget and executive support to make structural decisions.
  • Helping Alma use automation and AI to reduce operational friction and create more efficient ways of working.

đŸ€‘ Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on 12 months
  • Profit-sharing and employee savings plan
  • Health insurance: 100% covered by Alma, including family package
  • Disability insurance: 100% covered by Alma
  • Sport: partnerships with Gymlib and ClassPass, or €30/month reimbursement for your sports activities
  • Maternity/paternity leave: salary maintained at 100% during leave, with no seniority requirement. Return to work at a 4/5 schedule paid at 100% for 8 weeks
  • Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD): €544.80/year, excluding full-remote contracts
  • Meal vouchers: €10/day, 50% covered by Alma
  • Mental health: free access to the MindDay platform
  • Paid time off: 25 days per year, plus additional paid leave granted to employees on executive contracts
  • Access to our Learning & Development Platform
  • 2 weeks of full remote work possible per year during the summer

🎯 Interview process

  • Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member to discuss your background, motivation and the role.
  • Video call with your future manager, the Head of Revenue Operations, to discuss the team, the scope of the role, your experience and your questions.
  • Case study presentation with 2 to 3 team members, ideally including stakeholders from Revenue Operations and the Revenue organisation, to assess your practical knowledge and systems judgment.
  • One or two additional interviews tailored to the role's level and scope, with relevant stakeholders from Revenue, Product, Engineering, Data or Finance, to further assess your skills and team fit.

🌍 Diversity & Inclusion

At Alma, we believe that diversity fuels innovation and makes our community stronger. We are committed to building a workplace where every person feels seen, respected, and empowered to do their best work, whatever their gender, background, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability or lived experience.

As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applicants from all walks of life, and all employment decisions are made based on qualifications, merit and business needs.

Fullstack Engineer

Senior Product Engineer (DevTools & AI reliability, remote)

Checkly

Remotecontractsenior

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

(Fully remote, async-first, DevTools SaaS, 32-40h/week, time zones: UTC-3 to UTC+3)
The best developers don't wait for a customer to tell them something's broken.

They catch it first, in the pull request, in staging, or in the checkout flow at 3am, before a single user notices. That instinct is Checkly's whole reason to exist. We give developers and their agents the tools to own reliability the way they own their code: end-to-end tests and synthetic monitoring defined as code, powered by OpenTelemetry and Playwright, versioned and reviewed like everything else they ship. From pull request to post-mortem, in one place.

Thousands of them, from modern AI companies like Mistral and resolve.ai to large engineering orgs like LinkedIn, Citi, and 1Password, build with us. In 2024 we raised $20M in Series B funding from Balderton, CRV and Accel.

Here's the thing about 2026: AI agents and coding assistants are shipping more software, faster, than any team could review by hand, and more of it is breaking in ways nobody has seen before. LLM-backed features fail probabilistically. Agents take actions no runbook anticipated. "Is my app healthy?" is becoming an unanswerable question for a whole generation of AI-native software. You will build reliability for this kind of software.

Our stack is AI (Codex, Claude, use what you like best), Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Golang, Postgres, ClickHouse and AWS. We ship to prod all day, every day. We practice Agile (not scrum) and take pride in good documentation and good looking products.

We’re a remote-first startup that keeps things simple—low on meetings, high on productivity, and always shipping. If you love building cool things, working async, actually listening to and working with customers, and keeping it lean, you’ll fit right in!

What You'll Do
Build and ship with AI
You will actively use coding agents for full stack development, from exploring solutions and generating scaffolding to refactoring, test generation and debugging. At Checkly we push the limits of AI tools every day.

Talk to our users
You will talk directly to the developers, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams who are on-call, debugging incidents, or wiring Checkly into production pipelines. You will understand their workflows, pain points, and feedback. You use those conversations to validate ideas, course-correct early, and iterate on what you build. Customer calls and the weekly support rotation are part of the job, not a distraction from it.

Find the right problems to solve
In a world where the cost of building software trends to zero, the hard part is picking what to build. You will focus on real developer pain: flaky tests and flaky checks, unclear failures, noisy alerts. You will favour pragmatic solutions that ship quickly, validate assumptions in production, and compound into long-term reliability improvements.

Own your work end to end
From shaping the initial idea, through implementation and rollout, to watching how it behaves in production. You will take part in on-call and help support customers when things don’t work as expected.

What You Should Have

  • You have shipped features with AI, not just experimented with them. You have taken work from zero to shipped with a comparable stack, made implementation decisions that held up, and put things in front of real users.
  • You have built and run production software. You know the realities of operating software that people depend on: edge cases, incidents, regressions, and the need for observability and follow-up. You are not surprised when things break. You help fix them.
  • You can hold a product conversation, not just a technical one. You can look at a customer problem and reason about whether the thing we are about to build actually solves it.
  • You work well without an office around you. You are autonomous and self-motivated in a remote setup, and you still enjoy getting to know your colleagues and helping other people get unstuck.
  • FULLY remote role, within the UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones. You need to be able to travel to (other) European countries without having to wait for a visa appointment, for our annual kickoff, a team meetup or a conference.

What You Will Hate About Us
We would rather tell you now than have you find out in month two.

  • We use AI for everything, and we mean everything. AI skepticism is not a thing here. If you have the slightest hesitation about working with AI every day, this is not the place for you, and that is completely fine.
  • We write more than we talk. We are async-first, so a lot of decisions happen in documents and threads, not meetings. If you do your best thinking out loud in a room full of people, you will miss it here.
  • We are lean, so you own the unglamorous parts too. There is no separate QA team, no ops layer to hand things off to, and you are on the support rotation and the on-call rotation like everyone else.
  • We ship constantly and change our minds. Priorities move as we learn from customers. If you need long, stable planning cycles, this will feel chaotic.
  • Customer signals come first, and most of the time they matter more than your instinct. We build what customers actually want, not the clever thing we dreamed up.

Benefits

  • Transparent salary because your salary shouldn't be dictated by how good a negotiator you are. (more info below)
  • Remote-first, flexible work hours, async-first (low meeting, high productivity) and transparent culture
  • Become part of a fast-growing, international, and remote team where your work matters, and your impact won't get lost in layers of bureaucracy.
  • Stock options
  • 27 days of paid vacation + your local public holidays
  • Paid sick leave & up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Co-working budget or home office setup
  • Annual company kickoffs
  • Employee & contractor options

Find out more here.

What We Pay
Fair, competitive, and transparent pay is very important for us. Therefore we work with a standardized salary calculator that includes several factors such as seniority level as well as location.

For this role, the range is

  • €88k - €105k for someone in a similar cost of market as UK, Germany etc, + stock options
  • €79k - €97k for someone in a similar cost of market as Spain, Poland, Ukraine etc, + stock options

Apply
If this sounds interesting, please apply! Studies by several different sources have shown that on average men will apply for a job if they meet 60% of the application requirements. Women, non-binary people and POC will seek to match a much higher percentage of requirements before applying. If you're not sure you're the right fit, apply anyway and let us know what you bring to the table. We'd love to hear from you!

We're all about being transparent and setting clear expectations. That's why we've put together our hiring playbook and open-sourced our employee handbook. There you'll find a sneak peek of who we are, how we work and what you can expect in our hiring process.

Compensation Range: €79K - €105K
