Job Description

As a Salesforce Developer at Endava you will be part of an implementation team where you will mainly have the following input:

participate/drive solution design on Salesforce tech stack, implement the designed solution (declarative and programatic development), do unit testing and guide the testing team, participate/guide the deployment of the solution, guide/review work of more junior colleagues.

This role is primarily focused on delivering high quality as a Salesforce Developer for different types of clients. The journey might take the Developer from Salesforce implementation projects, integrating Salesforce with other systems to migrating other CRM systems to Salesforce or combinations of the above. It is a challenging position that will help the CRM Developer become their best version of an experienced Salesforce Developer:

· Design, Configure or develop new functionalities on top of Salesforce, using standard techniques for extending the platform

· Assist/Participate in discussions with business analysts and/or business stakeholders to understand the requirements

· Provide advice in Salesforce technical areas

· Respectfully challenge ambiguity or use of Salesforce in ways it wasn’t intended to be used, whilst being adaptive and open to new ideas

· Provide active guidance on best-practices and troubleshooting

· Participate in sandbox management and deployments

· Maintain recognized expert level knowledge in Salesforce, through certifications and staying up-to-date with latest platform upgrades

· Test and deploy the code or configuration you have built as per the designed process

· Document the changes you developed for future use

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Salesforce Development experience
  • 4+ years of overall development experience (Salesforce or other tech-stack)
  • Hands-on experience with integrating other systems with Salesforce
  • Experience with developing data models and data flows
  • Salesforce Certified Admin I and/or Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Functional knowledge of Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II and any other certifications is a plus

About The Role
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer in the System team, and you will have the opportunity to develop innovative software for the automotive industry. Telematics exposes the internal car ecosystem to the Internet: the car becomes an element of the Internet of Things (IoT), offering a new level of access to the car’s functionalities and a platform to build additional features in areas such as safety, security, and comfort. You will work with concepts like Telematics, 5G, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).

What You Will Do

  • Review Software specifications, Architecture, and Design documents for the system
  • Study and understand customer and internal specifications
  • Develop a component design document based on specifications and the given SW architecture

  • Communicate with peers inside the Harman group to coordinate software development. This includes occasional travel for training or coordination with other groups
  • Works with the customer to further define requirements and to resolve issues in case of need
  • Develop and offer visibility on risk assessment for critical fixes

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant (IT-connected) specializations
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a software developer with C/C++ knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux Architecture
  • Experience in developing embedded applications
  • Knowledge in inter-process communication, threading, and socket communication
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extended knowledge of software development processes

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, VLANs, etc.)
  • Automotive experience
  • Unified Modelling Language Knowledge
  • Knowledge in agile software development methods (SCRUM, SAFe Agile)
  • Linux kernel experience
  • Knowledge about Linux embedded power management (e.g. Suspend to RAM), logging (e.g. DLT), communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART
