We are looking for a
Senior Security Architect
with strong
Application Security (AppSec)
expertise to join our Security Architecture team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and assessing secure IT architectures for new and existing solutions, including applications, APIs, system integrations, on-premise infrastructure and hybrid environments. You will act as a
Security SME
across business and technology projects, supporting solutions from the concept and design stage through to implementation.

You will conduct security architecture reviews, technical security assessments and threat modeling, identify potential risks and translate them into clear, actionable security requirements and recommendations.

This is a
project- and architecture-focused role
. We are looking for someone who can combine strong AppSec knowledge with a broader understanding of the security of entire solutions, including identity and access management, data protection, communication between components and trust boundaries.

You will work closely with architects, developers, DevOps and cloud teams, system administrators, product owners and other business and technology stakeholders.

We are currently looking for an
Information Security Specialist
to assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cyber Security Program. You will work with both corporate and managed services business units to select and deploy technical controls to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Itron intellectual property and customer data.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the implementation of an Cyber Security Program including recommending necessary solutions, controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard globally distributed energy systems.
  • You will provide second-level support and analysis during and after a security incident.
  • Review security technologies, tools, and services, and make recommendations to the broader security team
  • Conduct incident response exercises with colleagues throughout the organization and incorporate lessons learned into existing security practices
  • Conduct forensic analysis of security-related incidents in a manner consistent with guidance from the organization's counsel, human resources, or law enforcement, as the case may be
  • Assist and leader security system administration and management of security tools including ITSM tickets through ServiceNOW.
  • You will participate in information security projects, SOC Services, EDR, SIEM, Azure and Microsoft Defender products
  • Develop tools, utilities, and reports to detect, alert and report on security issues and policy violations.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of information security technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on the OPS side, eg.: Technical support, System admin etc.
  • Can-do attitude and the will to share knowledge as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution
  • Some experience with O365 and Azure

Your Main Tasks Will Be

  • Design, implement, and maintain Cloudflare Zero Trust architecture (Access, Gateway, Tunnel, One Client);
  • Harden and protect endpoints through baseline configuration, patching, and EDR/antivirus management;
  • Run the infrastructure Vulnerability Management process: identify, assess, prioritize, and track remediation of vulnerabilities;
  • Build and maintain security monitoring capabilities, including onboarding new log/data sources into the SIEM;
  • Design and enforce network segmentation (VLANs, firewall zones, microsegmentation) to reduce lateral movement risk;
  • Coordinate infrastructure-focused penetration tests and drive remediation of findings;
  • Coordinate incident response for infrastructure security incidents.

We Expect From You

  • 3+ years in infrastructure/network security;
  • Hands-on experience with Zero Trust Network Access platforms;
  • Experience hardening and managing endpoints (baseline configuration, patching, EDR/antivirus);
  • Experience designing network segmentation (VLANs, firewall zones, microsegmentation);
  • Experience running a Vulnerability Management process (CVSS, prioritization, remediation SLAs);

As a

What You’ll Do
