Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and Machine Learning solutions.
  • Architect scalable applications leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Science techniques.
  • Own technical solution design and guide implementation decisions across projects.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and shape AI solution roadmaps.
  • Drive delivery of production-ready AI systems while ensuring high engineering and quality standards.
  • Mentor and support team members through technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Actively leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatPwC to enhance productivity, improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and solve complex business challenges responsibly.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning or Software Engineering.
  • Strong Python programming skills (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
  • Proven experience delivering solutions involving Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade AI systems.
  • Understanding of the ML lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients, stakeholders, and business users.
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced engineers.
  • English B2+.

About Role
As a Quality Engineer specializing in automation, you will take ownership of the automation strategy within one of our product engineering team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and evolution of advanced automated testing frameworks, driving continuous improvement in test quality and coverage. You will collaborate on a daily basis with other QAs, Senior QAs, SW Engineers and DevOps to constantly set the standard for quality and innovation across the organization.

Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Contribute hands-on in QA initiatives to ensure high-quality deliverables for our end-clients.
  • Identify, report and troubleshoot defects in collaboration with development teams.
  • Work on the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable test automation frameworks and suites across multiple product lines under L&H solutions.
  • Integrate test automation tools, including build verification systems, IDE plugins, and linting programs, to optimize testing efficiency and reliability.
  • Write and enforce test automation scripts following defined internal coding standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure infrastructure reliability.

  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests across UI, API, integration, and database layers.
  • Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Playwright, Cypress.
  • Ability to perform QA testing across both front-end (user interface) and back-end (services, REST APIs, databases) components of applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and automation using frameworks such as REST Assured (Java) and tools such as Postman or Bruno.
  • Strong QA experience with a solid background in Enterprise Java technologies.
  • Strong experience in regression, integration, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to identify, report, troubleshoot, and validate defects in collaboration with development teams.
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, and other non-functional testing approaches.
  • Working knowledge of performance and load testing concepts, with experience or exposure to tools such as K6, JMeter or similar.
  • Experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps

Nice to have

  • Experience with front-end automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, and Cucumber.
  • Experience with Bruno for API functional testing.
  • Experience with front-end performance testing using Sitespeed.
  • Experience testing cloud-native applications on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Experience with Grafana, Azure Monitor, or monitoring platforms.

Salary Information
Role
For Slovakia the
base salary range
for this position is between EUR 2,800 and EUR 4,600 (for a full-time role) per month. The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least 50% of the time.
