About the role
We are looking for an experienced
SDET / QA Automation Engineer
to design and maintain scalable test automation solutions for web and API platforms, ensuring high product quality and reliability across CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web applications
- Build UI test suites using
Playwright
and
Mocha
(Cucumber – optional) - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
- Design and execute API automation tests for RESTful services
- Run cross-browser testing via
BrowserStack - Integrate reporting with
Allure Reports - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC
- Conduct exploratory testing and manage defect lifecycle
- Maintain test documentation and validate data using SQL
Requirements
- Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
- Hands-on with:
Playwright, Mocha, BrowserStack, Allure Reports - Good knowledge of
BDD/TDD
and test automation architecture - Experience with
CI/CD tools
(e.g., GitHub Actions) and Git workflows - Proficiency in
API testing
and
SQL - Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with
JavaScript/TypeScript
Nice to have
- Mobile automation (e.g., Appium)
- Security testing fundamentals
- Microservices testing experience
