Senior Backend Engineer (Microsoft 365 / Graph API / Exchange Online)

We’re building a new engineering team responsible for creating intelligent backend services that integrate Agentic AI capabilities directly into the Microsoft ecosystem, enabling secure, scalable, enterprise-ready automation.

What you’ll be building

You’ll be responsible for developing backend services that connect Azure OpenAI with Microsoft 365 through Microsoft Graph API.

The first solution is an Agentic Email Orchestration Service capable of understanding, processing and orchestrating enterprise email workflows.

You’ll also contribute to future reusable services supporting our broader Agentic Case Management platform.

Your responsibilities

• Develop backend services supporting Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Design secure integrations with Microsoft Graph API.
• Build Exchange Online email workflows.
• Develop scalable APIs using Python and FastAPI where required.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and backend engineers.
• Design reusable integration components.
• Ensure security, reliability and scalability.
• Deliver production-ready software through short delivery iterations.
• Contribute to architecture and engineering discussions.

What we’re looking for

Required

• Strong experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services.
• Exchange Online expertise.
• Experience developing backend services.
• Python experience is highly appreciated.
• FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Azure experience.
• REST API design.
• Authentication (OAuth2 / Entra ID).
• Excellent English communication skills.
