Role description

At DBeaver, our team has a shared vision to integrate data into the routines and decision-making process of every individual. With a dedicated community of over 10 million active users worldwide who constantly inspire us, our open-source approach fuels innovation within.

Today, DBeaver is the leading provider of cross-platform enterprise data and database software and we're seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our team. You will bridge the gap between internal product and go-to-market teams by owning the strategy on how we communicate our products and features. You'll become the expert on what DBeaver does, who it's for, and how it stands apart from the competition.

Location:
This role can be based remotely in the United States or Europe, or hybrid in our offices in Belgrade, Serbia, or Budapest, Hungary.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand and define how we strategically talk about DBeaver's existing and future products and features: what they do, who they're for, and why they're different.
  • Translate DBeaver's technical details into clear, compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering/product, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure strong internal alignment and understanding of DBeaver's value and differentiation.
  • Help sales and marketing teams improve campaigns, collateral, and external messaging through internal education and alignment.

Your Impact:

  • Shape the voice of DBeaver in the global data market by defining and championing product differentiation that resonates with millions of users.
  • Accelerate product adoption and customer success through strategic messaging that makes complex database technology accessible and valuable to diverse audiences.

What You Bring:
We are open to two different types of candidates for this role:

Technical user or engineer who is seeking to transition into a marketing career. In this case, you are someone who has:

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases or database management tools - you know how they function, how users interact with databases, etc.
  • Strong writing skills - you're empathetic to the needs of different personas and can translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You've been looking for a role that uses your technical knowledge, but adds a creative writing or marketing component beyond coding every day.
  • If this is you, we encourage you to drop a few sentences into your application or cover letter on why you've been seeking this type of career transition!

OR

Marketing or Product Marketing pro. In this case, you are someone who has:

  • 2+ years of product marketing experience
  • Proven experience quickly onboarding and understanding feature-rich, developer tool software products; or previous experience marketing for database or databases management tools.
  • Demonstrated success with cross-team alignment, messaging, and enablement for supporting existing and future product/feature launches.
  • You're empathetic to the needs of different personas and can translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting product metrics or market data
  • Bonus Skills: Familiarity with open source ecosystems or products.

Client Strategist

Chronos Agency

Remotefulltime

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

JOB PURPOSE:
The Client Strategist exists to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring a positive client experience and maximizing campaign performance. In our Pod structure, you are the strategic brain and operational lead of a self-contained client delivery unit. This role focuses on client-facing interactions, strategic planning, and ongoing optimization to drive business growth. You will own client outcomes, lead the pod's delivery, and be the primary strategic voice for the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Account Performance: Own the performance of your accounts against revenue forecasts and retention KPIs. Regularly audit active flows, track campaign revenue contributions, and monitor leading retention metrics like repurchase rates.
  • Strategy Development & Prioritisation: Maintain a living gameplan for each account. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives. Decide high-leverage priorities and articulate the retention logic behind every initiative.
  • Pod Coordination & Operational Leadership: Direct your pod (Activations Specialist, Designer, Copywriter) effectively. Provide clear briefs, manage production timelines, and lead weekly standups to catch blockers early.
  • Client Communication & Relationship Management: Lead strategic check-ins, communicate proactively about performance, and translate complex retention data into clear business outcomes. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive an overall positive client experience.
  • Quality Ownership: Take ultimate accountability for all copy, creative, and flow builds before they reach the client. Ensure consistent brand voice, segment logic, and strategic alignment across the account.
  • Growth & Thought Leadership: Upsell and cross-sell additional services to clients to enhance their marketing efforts. Share industry insights and information with marketing to position the company as a thought leader.

SUCCESS MEASURES:

  • Short-Term (0–3 months): * Accounts are on target for goals, or you have a clear diagnostic plan in place.
  • Pod members receive clear briefs and work flows smoothly through production on time.
  • Account Health Reports are updated accurately and standups are led with preparation.
  • Client communication is proactive, not reactive.
  • Medium-Term (3–6 months):
  • Accounts are consistently hitting or exceeding retention benchmarks (NPS, Net Revenue Retention).
  • You are proactively identifying strategic opportunities, not just managing existing execution tasks.
  • Clients view you as a trusted strategic partner, and pod members trust your direction.
  • Managerial intervention is significantly minimized.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in client strategy, account management, or a similar strategic role, preferably within a digital marketing, e-commerce, or creative agency.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze performance data, identify growth opportunities, and translate complex metrics into actionable strategies that drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and client success.
  • Client Relationship Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated track record of building deep trust, managing expectations proactively, and acting as a true strategic partner rather than just an order-taker.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience guiding and collaborating with internal execution teams (or "pods"). Ability to write clear briefs, streamline workflows, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard.
  • Project & Account Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple client accounts simultaneously, maintain accurate Account Health Reports, and lead effective stand-ups.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: A high degree of autonomy and resourcefulness. You should be able to anticipate client needs, troubleshoot issues independently, and significantly minimize the need for managerial intervention.
  • Industry Expertise: A solid understanding of digital marketing principles, e-commerce trends, and customer lifecycle strategies to provide high-level, relevant advice to clients.
  • Language Skills: Must speak and write fluent English. This is essential for leading proactive client communications, presenting data-driven strategies clearly, and providing concise, accurate briefs to your internal pod members.

ENJOY THESE BENEFITS:

  • Full-time Remote Work Setting
  • Paid Time Off (30 days annually)
  • Observance of Public Holidays
  • Internet Allowance
  • Health and Wellness Allowance
  • Maternity and Paternity Benefit
  • Loyalty Rewards
  • Performance-based Incentives and Bonuses
  • Outcome-focused Environment

DevOps Engineer

Senior Platform Engineer - Remote (DE, UK, PT, ES)

Cozero

Remotesenior

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

🌍 About Cozero
Cozero is a carbon accounting platform where enterprises log, calculate, and report their CO2 emissions. Our engineering group is around 12 software and data engineers plus a DevOps Lead, split across two product squads (Insights and Engine) and a Platform squad (Infra, DevOps, Application & DevEx, and Data). We ship in two-week sprints and occasionally stand up tiger teams for the most urgent projects. Platform is the shared foundation the product squads build on, and this role becomes half of its senior technical leadership.

We are open to hiring fully remotely within Germany, United Kingdom, Portugal or Spain.
🖥️ About the Role
We are hiring a
Senior Platform Engineer
(m/f/d)
to become the second senior voice in Platform, alongside our DevOps Lead, and to bridge two worlds he cannot cover alone: application-level developer experience and data engineering.

You will build the automation foundation for the manual data quality checks a single team member has held for years and is now transitioning out of. You keep our analytics layer running while planning its successor. You raise developer experience as a measurable discipline. You are hands-on, you write code daily, and you set the standard for how the engineering group builds and ships.

🎯 What you’ll do:

  • Own Application & DevEx in the Platform group. Developer frameworks, application-level tooling, framework upgrades (NestJS, TypeScript ecosystem), test infrastructure, local dev flow, build pipelines. You define "how we build at Cozero" and reduce friction across the engineering group.
  • Lead the data platform infrastructure. Warehouse and operational database architecture, cost and performance tuning (Snowflake and Postgres, or similar), orchestration (Dagster, Airflow, or equivalent), ingestion and CDC pipelines, transformation layer, environments and deployment for data workloads, and the infrastructure for AI and ML workloads: serving and inference, LLM application infra, evaluation and versioning, cost control. You work closely with our DevOps lead on the layers underneath. You provide the paved path; Data and Engineering build on top of it.
  • Make data reliability an engineering discipline. Pipeline observability, lineage, data quality checks, alerting and freshness SLOs, test coverage for transformations. Convert tribal knowledge and manual checks into maintained, observable, test-covered systems.
  • Raise developer experience as a discipline. Build times, test flakiness, local dev flow, repo hygiene, framework upgrade cadence. You measure these and reduce them. AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, Cursor) is part of the toolkit, and you push the team's fluency here. Eg building skills, agents or Bots to expedite our delivery speed with solid quality gates.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation. Every senior engineer, including platform, takes a turn as primary or backup on a 2-week cycle.
  • Mentor across squads. Your work touches every squad's daily experience. Fast, actionable code and design reviews.

⭐ You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior IC role owning developer platform, developer experience, or data platform work.
  • Have owned developer experience as a first-class product. Build pipelines, test infrastructure, framework upgrades, local dev flow. You have measured DevEx metrics (build time, PR turnaround, flake rate) and moved them.
  • Have straddled backend and data engineering deliberately. You are fluent in TypeScript / NestJS and comfortable in Python. You have built ETL pipelines, worked with a warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent), and shipped systems where data correctness matters.
  • Go deep on the warehouse and the operational database rather than treating either as a black box. You can reason about Snowflake or similar structures, dynamic tables, warehouse sizing, and query cost, and you have shipped data quality automation: duplicate detection, outlier flagging, schema drift, lineage, whether with dbt tests, a dedicated validation framework, or your own.
  • Have shipped data quality automation. Great Expectations, dbt tests, custom frameworks, or your own thing. Duplicate detection, outlier flagging, schema drift, and lineage are all patterns you have implemented.
  • Have taken over a system from a single point of failure. You know how to do knowledge transfer well: pair sessions, written runbooks, shadowing, gradual ownership handover.
  • Have opinions about test infrastructure at scale. Unit vs integration vs E2E, contract testing, data test fixtures, test parallelisation. You have made these choices in a real codebase and can defend them.
  • Are AI-native in your engineering practice. Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent, integrated into your daily flow. You use AI to move faster on framework work, refactoring, and repetitive automation. You have opinions on where AI helps and where it does not.
  • Communicate in writing first. RFCs, tech docs, decision records. Async by default, but you’re not afraid to “pick up the phone” to rapidly unblock yourself, instead of waiting for a fixed meeting.
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity. The Application & DevEx charter is broad. You will shape it as much as inherit it.

🙌 Nice to have:

  • Experience in climate tech, carbon accounting, or sustainability platforms
  • Experience replacing a legacy analytics layer (CubeJS, Looker, Metabase, or equivalent) with a modern stack
  • Experience with Prisma ORM at scale
  • Experience automating manual data checks into production systems.
  • Nx or similar monorepo tooling experience

💚 Why Join Cozero?

  • Real technical challenge - You're joining a growing system with real complexity. Work directly reduces carbon emissions at scale. Not theoretical, actual tons of CO2.
  • Actual climate impact - Series A funded, growing fast, working with enterprise customers who trust us with their decarbonization journey.
  • Exceptional team - Work directly with our founders. And 10+ engineers across Germany, Portugal and the UK. Multicultural, senior-leaning, collaborative, and actually passionate about climate action.
  • You'll grow fast - Flat hierarchy. Your ideas ship. Direct impact on product and strategy.

📍 Where You'll Work
Fully remote within Germany, United Kingdom, Portugal or Spain.
🌱 Benefits

  • 27 vacation days + 1 day life event leave (Wedding, Birth of child etc.) + national holidays (Depends on location).
  • 500 EUR annual learning and development budget.
  • 500 EUR one-time home office setup.
  • 100 EUR monthly coworking budget (for those outside Berlin headquarters).
  • VSOP (Virtual Stock Options) - share in Cozero's success.
  • Regular team events every year

We're committed to building diverse teams and creating an inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, age, or sexual identity. Our recruitment process is fair, objective, and based solely on the skills and qualifications required for this role.
