What You’ll Do 🧠

  • Architect the Flow:
    Design, build, and maintain scalable, end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) that process millions of events daily.
  • Be Hands-On:
    Get into the trenches of coding and optimization. You’ll be writing clean, production-grade code to handle complex data transformations.
  • Champion Data Governance:
    Establish and implement data governance standards. You will ensure data quality, lineage, and security are integrated into the very fabric of our data platform.
  • Power the Intelligence Layer:

  • Optimize for Scale:
    Tune our big data environment for maximum performance, ensuring our infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Spark, Airflow) grows as fast as ouruser base.
  • Bridge the Gap:
    Work with Product and Engineering teams to turn business requirements into robust data schemas and reliable analytical assets.

Who You Are ✨

  • Data Architect & Builder:
    You have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong foundation in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Tech Maestro:
    You are a Python and SQL expert. You have hands-on experience with Big Data tools (Spark, Kafka, Flink) and workflow orchestrators (Airflow, Dagster).
  • Governance Advocate:
    You don't just move data; you care about its integrity. You have proven experience in
    Data Governance,
    including data cataloging, lineage tracking, and implementing data quality frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt tests).
  • Cloud Native:
    Deeply comfortable managing data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Problem Solver:
    You thrive on optimizing slow queries and fixing bottlenecks in high-through put systems.
  • Clear Communicator:
    You can explain the importance of "Data Lineage" to a stakeholder and discuss "Partitioning Strategies" with a DevOps engineer with ease.

As a
Presales Engineer
at Evam, you will be the technical bridge between our sales team and prospective clients. You'll own the technical side of the sales cycle from discovery and solution design to demos, POCs, and RFP responses, while building strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders. You will work with both local and international enterprise clients, gaining exposure to diverse industries and markets across multiple geographies.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

• 5+ years of experience in a presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role

• Strong background in software development or systems architecture (Java, microservices, APIs, or similar)

• Hands-on experience with real-time data processing, event-driven architecture, middleware, or streaming platforms is a strong plus

• Ability to work effectively with multicultural, international stakeholders

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; you can translate complex technical concepts for both technical and business audiences

• Experience working with enterprise clients in telecom, fintech, or e-commerce sectors is preferred

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required

• Self-driven, consultative mindset with a passion for solving real business problems

What You'll Be Driving:

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and pain points
