What makes this project exciting?:

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the data infrastructure that powers our business intelligence platform. You'll work with massive volumes of ad server data, CRM data, and a variety of ancillary data sources to power real-time analytics by designing, maintaining, and enhancing pipelines that process billions of events.

This role sits at the intersection of ad-tech domain expertise and modern data engineering. You'll build systems that ingest data from SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, and various other data sources, transform it into actionable insights, and power dashboards that help our internal and external customers optimize campaigns, manage workflows, and drive efficiency and growth for everyone.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of professional data engineering experience
  • 2+ years working with programmatic advertising and ad-tech data (GAM)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse)
  • Experience with batch processing frameworks (Spark, dbt, Airflow)

Your Day-to-day In This Position

  • Design and build and enhance scalable data pipelines for processing data from a variety of ad server and ancillary data sources
  • Ingest and normalize data from multiple SSPs, DSPs, ad servers (GAM), and third-party reporting APIs
  • Develop ETL/ELT workflows to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets
  • Create data models for campaign performance optimization, supply analysis, supply allocations, and profit maximization
  • Build and maintain data warehouses and lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns
  • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and anomaly detection for data streams
  • Support Executive, BI and analytics teams with clean, documented, and performant data infrastructure
  • Ensure data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA) in data collection, storage, and processing

The Role
: This is a highly unique opportunity for a Quantitative Researcher to join a new and rapidly growing team. In this role you will partner with a close-knit team of data scientists, data engineers, technologists and data sourcing colleagues to identify and research new sector or broad Alphas based on a deep understanding of fundamentals.

  • Develop a structured and methodical research agenda combining fundamental knowledge, data exploration and quantitative analysis.
  • Become a domain expert on each fundamental topic you cover, identify key information drivers to target your research.
  • Conduct detailed data exploration to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the data used to generate Alphas; enrich a wide range of structured and unstructured data into datasets to enable your quantitative research.
  • Take a process orientated approach to understand the value drivers of your Alphas

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 2 years of relevant financial research experience
  • Proven experience of extracting insights from large and complex datasets using SQL and Python. Experience with alternative datasets a plus.
  • Demonstrable financial knowledge - passed at least Level I of the CFA program, or similar financial qualification (i.e., MBA or accountancy background). Thorough understanding about various valuation approaches and methods.
  • Expertise in time series analysis and models.
  • Proficient in coding in C/C++ and Python.
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and oral English).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills encompassing finance and related areas of financial investment.
  • Familiarity with various research/database platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters etc.) would be preferred.

The Role:
Research is at the core of WorldQuant. Through rigorous exploration and unconstrained thinking about how to apply data to the financial markets, our researchers are in constant search of new alphas. Researchers at WorldQuant employ tested processes seeking to identify high-quality predictive signals that we believe are undiscovered by the wider market. These signals are mathematical expressions of data that are used as inputs in our quantitative models.

WorldQuant is seeking an exceptional individual to join the firm as a Quantitative Researcher. The person must have a strong understanding of the investment research process to create computer-based models that seek to predict movements of global financial markets. While prior finance experience is not required, a successful candidate must possess a strong interest in learning about finance and global markets. Candidates will have a research scientist mind-set; be a self-starter, a creative and persevering deep thinker who is motivated by unsolved challenges.

Job Responsibilities (including, But Not Limited To, The Following)

  • Building algorithmic, computer-driven models;
  • Conducting research on academic quantitative finance literature;
  • Exploring new data;
  • Applying a synergy of innovative methods in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Financial Economics;
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in AI and LLM research, identifying opportunities to integrate them into quantitative finance applications.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree from a top university in a highly analytical/quantitative field, such as: Mathematics, Finance or Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar;

  • Critical thinking and ability to come up with non-standard approaches;

Senior Data & AI Solution Architect
to lead solution design across enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives in a Microsoft-first environment. The ideal candidate combines strong architecture leadership with proven hands-on depth in Power BI, Azure data platforms, and enterprise AI enablement.

Key responsibilities:
