Candidates offered a permanent contract may choose to receive part of their compensation in discounted company equity.

We are seeking a
Senior Data Software Engineer
to join the MDG Tech team, responsible for designing, operating and supporting the end-to-end MDM integration flow between Syndigo and legacy systems, including inbound/outbound processing, mapping, error handling and operational monitoring.

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
Responsibilities

• Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfaces
• Ensure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messages
• Support production stability through monitoring, alerting and dead-letter queue handling
• Build a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and system reliability

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering at a senior level
• Expertise in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, Fargate), Confluent Kafka and Terraform
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Skills in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Background in cloud integration and MDM/Syndigo
• Solid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings and production support considerations
• AWS certification
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer with a strong Python background who enjoys building and improving automated workflows in an Azure environment.

 You will take ownership of automation topics end2end, from scripting and pipeline design to deployment and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve Python-based applications and automation scripts in an Azure cloud environment
• Design and independently implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate Python solutions into Azure-based infrastructure
• Gather requirements and provide continuous feedback loops between development and operations teams

What we are looking for

• University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems, or comparable qualification.
