We are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
to join a team focused on platform reliability, advanced troubleshooting, and automation for core client platforms. This role combines analytical, diagnostic, and project-based work, requiring deep technical expertise across infrastructure, containers, and cloud services to resolve complex incidents and drive long-term system stability.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for advanced incident management, performing deep-dive troubleshooting of infrastructure, containers, and cloud services to resolve complex or prolonged incidents
- Lead Root Cause Analysis for major or recurring issues, document findings, and implement permanent corrective actions to reduce recurrence
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, maintain infrastructure-as-code, and develop and optimize the CI/CD toolchain
- Plan and execute non-standard, high-risk, or architectural changes, such as cluster migrations and major upgrades
- Analyze system performance, adjust resources, and tweak configurations for stability and cost optimization
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and Runbooks, and conduct training sessions
- Participate in on-call rotation to cover escalations and complicated deployment issues, including stand-by and troubleshooting modes during weekends
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, PowerShell, and Bash scripting
- Expertise in IIS, HAProxy, and RabbitMQ
- Background in Active Directory and Security TLS certificates management
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm
- Familiarity with AWS IAM, EKS, ASG, ALB/NLB, and Route53
- Skills in Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Understanding of JEMSfm, JEMSco, JEMSts, and JEMSmm platforms
- Competency in IoT Edge environments
- Knowledge of PowerBI, DWH, and MS SQL
- Flexibility to use on-call work modes, including stand-by and troubleshooting, across weekday and weekend coverage
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
