Job Description

This role is focused on a market-leading Industrial AI solution designed to help organizations measure, disclose, and optimize their impact on the path to decarbonization.

The solution enables customers to move beyond static sustainability reporting to operational, decision-grade intelligence embedded directly into how the business runs.

The platform delivers:

  • End-to-end carbon intelligence across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions

  • A scalable, actionable pathway for decarbonization in complex industrial environments

  • Near real-time insights that enable faster, smarter operational and strategic decisions

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable, cloud-based Industrial AI solutions that create meaningful outcomes for customers and the business. You will provide technical leadership across both front-end and back-end development, influence architectural decisions, and help evolve the platform into a secure, observable, high-quality product portfolio.

This role requires a strong engineering mindset, hands-on full stack capability, and the ability to work across multiple general-purpose programming languages and frameworks — including, but not limited to, GoLang and React. You will be expected to continuously learn, adapt, and guide others as technologies and product needs evolve.

While this role begins within an Industrial emissions intelligence solution, it is not confined to a single product or problem space. It is an entry point into a broader AI-driven product portfolio, with opportunities to expand across products, domains, and technologies as the platform evolves.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable APIs, services, and accessibility-first user interfaces.

  • Drive the modernization of legacy systems into modular, event-driven, API-first components.

  • Deliver AI-native features and improvements across both front-end and back-end, using multiple programming languages where required.

  • Provide technical direction and make sound engineering trade-offs around scalability, maintainability, performance, and product impact.

  • Own reliability and operational excellence, including telemetry, SLOs, error budgets, on-call rotations, incident response, and continuous service improvement.

  • Champion DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, and application-level operations.

  • Collaborate with Platform Engineers as part of a lean DevOps shared service model, while taking responsibility for application-level DevOps within the team.

  • Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and help raise the technical bar across the team.

  • Champion code quality, documentation, automated testing, performance, security, and maintainability.

  • Take full ownership of the quality of deliverables, including test automation, continuous improvement, and production readiness.

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Design, AI, Platform Engineering, and other engineering teams on product discovery, technical trade-offs, and delivery.

  • Bring a product- and customer-led mindset to solving customer pain points with elegant, scalable engineering solutions.

  • Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve the platform architecture and engineering ways of working.

Qualifications

Essential :

  • Strong experience in full stack software engineering, with proven capability across both front-end and back-end development.

  • Solid experience with modern front-end technologies, particularly
    React
    or similar frameworks.

  • Strong back-end engineering experience, ideally including
    GoLang
    or comparable general-purpose programming languages.

  • Experience designing and building scalable APIs, services, and cloud-native applications.

  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, automation, and incident response.

  • Experience delivering secure, observable, high-quality production software.

  • Strong focus on code quality, automated testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability.

  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions.

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across Product, Design, Platform, and Engineering teams.

  • Ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for outcomes from design through to production.

  • Proficient in English

Desirable :

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

  • Experience with event-driven architectures, distributed systems, or microservices.

  • Experience modernizing legacy systems into modular, scalable platforms.

  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams.

  • Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to engineering standards.

  • Experience with AI-enabled, data-intensive, sustainability, carbon intelligence, or enterprise SaaS products.

  • Familiarity with observability, reliability engineering, SLOs, error budgets, and production incident management.

What We’re Looking For :

We are looking for a senior engineer who can combine strong hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You should be comfortable building across the stack, making architectural decisions, improving engineering practices, and influencing how products are designed, delivered, and operated.

You will be successful in this role if you enjoy solving complex customer problems, building scalable cloud-native systems, collaborating across disciplines, and helping teams deliver high-quality software that has real-world impact.

Additional Information

We embrace flexibility and hybrid work opportunities to support diverse needs and lifestyles, while also valuing inclusive workplace experiences. By fostering a sense of community, we drive innovation, strengthen connections, and nurture belonging. Our commitment ensures you can work in a way that suits you best, while also engaging with colleagues to share ideas and build meaningful relationships.

Platform Engineer

Tech Lead - Solutions Squad

Pelico

Parislead

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

About Pelico
At Pelico, state-of-the-art technology meets supply-chain expertise in the search for operational excellence. Our manufacturing intelligence platform helps factories at Safran, Airbus, Daikin and other aerospace, defense, and industrial leaders stay agile and resilient — turning disruption into decisions. We're a fast-growing international SaaS scale-up:
180+ Pelicans, 36+ nationalities, across Paris and Miami
, making
real impact, every day, on the ground
. 💙

About The Solution Squads
Pelico's customers feel one pain above all: missing parts that block delivery. The
Solution squads
are where we turn Pelico's platform into a product that fixes it. Each squad owns one
solution surface
— Material Coverage & inventory, Quality, Supplier & customer Collaboration / AI Buyer, MRO & Aftermarket, Program Management, or Strategic Account Support — composing our platform's building blocks into workflows that work across many customers.

You'll lead one surface end to end: ship it fast, keep it configuration-first, and feed real customer patterns back into the platform — while our Regional Solution Engineering pods carry the day-to-day customer relationship.

Your mission

You'll Own a Solution Surface — And Build It Yourself

  • Ship the surface. Compose configuration, compute, widgets, connectors, and agents into customer-facing workflows that pass a real acid test on real customers.
  • Stay configuration-first. Solve in Phoenix YAML wherever you can, reach for code only when it's worth it, and never let the surface fragment into per-customer forks.
  • Set the bar. Author specs, run the spec-driven workflow, and put eval and review gates on anything AI-assisted that touches a customer.
  • Harvest the field. Spot the patterns that recur across accounts and turn them into platform capabilities, so the next customer is faster.
  • Lead by example. Write the code, pair with your squad and the engineers deploying at customer sites, raise the bar, and grow the team as the impact you ship earns it.

Your impact

Customers buy outcomes — shortages caught, deliveries recovered, quality exceptions resolved. Your squad is where the platform becomes those outcomes. Own a surface well and you make Pelico's revenue engine both faster and more defensible — and you keep it from collapsing into bespoke work that can't scale.

What we're looking for

This is a
lead-by-example
role for a senior full-stack engineer with real product and customer judgment. You're energized by shipping outcomes under real constraints, you decide what
not
to build, and you lead by being in the code with your team.

You'll Need

  • A track record of shipping customer-facing product software end to end, full-stack, under real delivery pressure
  • Strong, current hands-on coding — we build in Kotlin / Java 25 (backend) and TypeScript / React (frontend); strong in one and credible across, or a fast learner
  • Product and customer judgment — scope to outcomes, cut to MVP under deadline, decide what not to build
  • A configuration-first, anti-bespoke instinct — you build for many customers, not one fork at a time
  • A track record of leading engineers by example, not by leaving the keyboard

Nice To Have

  • Aerospace / defense / supply-chain / discrete-manufacturing context (MRP, BoM, coverage, MRO/TAT, program management, procurement)
  • Forward-deployed / solutions-engineering / customer-embedded experience, feeding learnings back into a platform
  • Configuration- or low-code-driven product experience (YAML/DSL, composable UI, workflow authoring)
  • AI-native ways of working (agentic workflows, eval on AI output, spec-driven development)
  • French is a plus, not a requirement

If you bring the essentials and a strong mix of the rest, we want to hear from you — we're hiring the person who'll make this real, not a checklist.

What we offer

  • A real ownership mandate over a customer-facing surface, with equity in a category-defining scale-up
  • Outcomes that customers feel, at real scale, with named aerospace and industrial leaders
  • An AI-native engineering culture and a small, elite squad — be challenged, learn, and have fun
  • Hybrid working from our Paris HQ, an international team of 36+ nationalities

Your interview experience

  • Intro call with Talent Acquisition (30 min)
  • Hiring manager conversation with the VP Engineering (45 min)
  • Case Study Onsite 1h30 / 2h
  • Leadership conversation + founders (CEO/CTO)
  • References, run in parallel

We move fast and we're transparent at every step.

Pelico is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building a team that reflects the manufacturers we serve. All applications are reviewed — we'll get back to you.

Platform Engineer

Software Test & Validation Engineer

Harmattan AI

Paris

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

About Us
Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces.

Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected.

About The Role
As a
Software Test & Validation Engineer
, you build the systems that let us trust our drones' software before it ever flies a mission. You design the automated tests and pipelines that put our flight software through its paces, from pure simulation (SITL) to hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and turn the results into clear signal for the engineering teams. Our validation team is scaling fast, from testing a handful of drones to testing them by the hundred, and you are how that scale becomes possible.

Your main instrument is the SITL/HITL simulation environment built by our tooling team. A big part of the job is to use it to its full potential and to help improve it continuously: it's recent and not yet fully representative of reality, so your feedback and contributions are what will make it a trustworthy test bench. On top of that, new systems to validate arrive on a regular basis, so you'll repeatedly stand up test coverage for platforms you're seeing for the first time.

This is a broad role, and we're deliberately hiring for a range of profiles rather than a single narrow one. We're looking for engineers with scope beyond pure software, system-level thinking, a feel for architecture, a statistical approach to noisy data, and some physical intuition. Depending on your strengths, you might focus on test-scenario design and coverage, on the automation and CI pipeline that runs tests on every build, on capturing and replaying flight telemetry, or on deepening the simulation itself. Tell us in your application where you fit best.

What you'll do
(the mix depends on your profile, you won't do all of it)

  • Test design & content: Define the scenarios that catch real bugs, decide what to measure, and turn noisy flight metrics into stable, meaningful pass/fail and regression signals.
  • Drive and improve the SITL/HITL environment: Use the tooling team's simulation bench as your primary test instrument, push it hard, and feed back concrete improvements to make it more representative, models, scenarios, missing capabilities.
  • Automation & tooling: Write clean Python tools to load, parse and analyse test outputs, detect regressions, and produce reports the engineering teams act on.
  • CI/CD integration: Integrate simulation and hardware tests into the continuous-integration pipeline so every new build is validated automatically, fast, and reproducibly.
  • Onboard new systems: As new platforms arrive, build the test scenarios, metrics and coverage to validate them, often starting from scratch.
  • Telemetry & replay: Capture flight and test telemetry and make it replayable and analysable, so an issue seen once can be reproduced and understood.

What we're looking for
(we don't expect every point, show us your strengths)

  • Background in software engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics, aerospace, or a closely related field.
  • Strong Python for test tooling and automation (C++ is a plus, and more important for some of these profiles than others).
  • Scope beyond pure coding: system-level thinking, an ability to grasp a whole architecture, a statistical mindset for noisy test data, and enough physical intuition to reason about flight behaviour.
  • Some combination of: test-scenario/framework design; CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Docker, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Git, Linux); simulation (SITL/HITL); or telemetry capture and analysis.
  • A validation mindset: rigor, attention to edge cases, and healthy scepticism about what "passing" really means.
  • Clear communication and ownership, you'll work hand in hand with the flight-software, simulation/tooling and hardware teams.
  • Bonus: a background in drones or robotics; experience with statistical analysis of noisy test data.

We look forward to hearing how you can help shape the future of autonomous defense systems at Harmattan AI.
