Description
We are seeking a Senior L1 SOC Analyst to support the daily monitoring, investigation, and response to security alerts. The role also includes incident escalation, guidance of junior analysts, and support in improving SOC procedures and detection processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial incident triage, log analysis, and response for security alerts and events
  • Escalate complex or high-severity security incidents to L2/L3 analysts or SOC Management, providing comprehensive initial documentation
  • Communicate effectively with SOC management and team members regarding ongoing investigations and status updates
  • Assist in the review and basic tuning recommendations for SIEM alerts and detection rules to reduce false positives
  • Mentor and guide junior L1 analysts in daily operational tasks, triage workflows, and best practices
  • Maintain and update Incident Response playbooks/SOPs for Tier 1 triage procedures

Requirements

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in security incident monitoring, log analysis, and response within a SOC environment
  • Demonstrated experience with modern SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, QRadar)
  • Solid experience in analyzing security logs from a variety of sources (EDR, Firewalls, WAF, Active Directory, Cloud logs, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of current security trends, threats, attack vectors, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (Greek and English)
  • Relevant IT Security Certifications (e.g., CySA+, BTL1, Security+, GCIH, CEH) or willingness to obtain within one year
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure during critical security incide

The role involves close collaboration with sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design appropriate technical solutions, and support new and existing business opportunities through presentations, demonstrations, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Designing and Implementing projects for the Security Services Department
  • Responsible for supporting and installing all distribution products via phone or on site
  • Research new products and trends for the Security Department
  • Participate in presales meetings with potential resellers
  • Answer to RFP
  • Create technical offers for partners
  • Responsible for the training of the partners and perform PoC at selective partners
  • Responsible for preparing newsletter campaigns

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or similar technical role within a B2B environment, ideally within the IT industry (security, networking, or cloud preferred)
  • Strong ability to understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Experience supporting sales activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across commercial and technical teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is considered a plus

Penetration Tester
, you will work in a highly skilled team to perform various Penetration Testing and Red Teaming engagements for our domestic and international clients. To sharpen your skills, you will be trained with the Offensive Security trainings; you will join the periodic Deloitte Global Ethical Hacking and Red Team knowledge exchange sessions, and perform research on the latest techniques and tools. Moreover, you will serve as a “Subject Matter Expert”, adding interpretive value to findings presented and be responsible for creating and executing custom penetration testing engagements to identify if client systems are vulnerable to security issues.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity or any related discipline
  • Familiar with penetration testing like Web Application, Mobile, Infrastructure and Vulnerability Assessments both on *nix and Windows environments.
  • Expertise using Kali Linux and tools like Burp, Metasploit, Covenant, Cobalt Strike, and Nessus.
  • Willingness to research new security testing techniques and tradecraft.
  • Experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
  • Consultant mindset, commitment to teamwork, and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and always strive for high ethical standards.
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
