Senior Network Engineer
Das kannst du bewegen

  • Design, Implementierung und Dokumentation von Kommunikationsnetzwerken für Anlagen von Armee, Bund und Blaulichtorganisationen
  • Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Netzwerk-Konzepten mit Fokus auf Stabilität, Sicherheit und langfristigen Betrieb
  • Konfiguration, Inbetriebnahme und Test von Netzwerkkomponenten in Projekten und Betriebsumgebungen
  • Betreuung und gezielter Support von Kundennetzwerken im Rahmen von Projekten und Serviceeinsätzen
  • Technische Unterstützung der Projektleiter im Pre-Sales, zum Beispiel bei Lösungskonzepten, Architekturfragen und Offerten
  • Analyse und Behebung komplexer Netzwerk- und Security-Probleme im 3rd-Level-Umfeld

 

Das bringst du mit

  • Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung auf Tertiärstufe (HF, BSc, MSc oderMAS) in Engineering oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Fundierte Erfahrung mit TCP/IP, Routing sowie Technologien für Kommunikations-Sicherheit
  • Praxis mit Netzwerk-Lösungen von Herstellern wie zum Beispiel Cisco, Juniper oder Checkpoint
  • Weiterbildungen im Bereich IP-Kommunikation sind von Vorteil, zum Beispiel Cisco-Zertifizierungen
  • Erfahrung im Bereich Richtfunk oder Interesse sich in diesen Bereich einzuarbeiten
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (Niveau B2)
  • Motiviert Neues zu lernen

Softwire are hiring a Senior Software Engineer on a contract basis to join an established team working on an exciting project within the Media sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working 100% remotely as part of an established, distributed development team
  • Owning your code end-to-end — designing, developing, and testing to release-candidate quality Scoping work and creating well-structured Jira tickets
  • Carrying out code reviews and testing your own and others' code
  • Contributing to estimation and sprint planning
  • Producing clear technical documentation (Confluence experience a plus)
  • Engaging daily with clients on calls — friendly, consultative, and collaborative
  • Actively participating in scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, and more)
  • Supporting and lifting up your wider team

What we're looking for:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset
  • Ability to work independently and deliver in a timely manner
  • Comfort working directly with clients in a friendly, consultative way
  • Experience with AI and prompt engineering
