The Role
AMD is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Multimedia Security Platform team in Serbia. In this role, you will help develop and deliver cutting-edge content protection technologies that enable secure premium video playback across AMD platforms.

You will work at the intersection of platform security, multimedia, graphics, and operating system technologies, contributing to solutions that protect digital content while delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Widevine OEMCrypto implementations in Trusted Execution Environments.
Develop and optimize secure content decryption modules (CDM) for protected video playback.
Implement secure buffer handling and encrypted content processing pipelines.
Work on integration between OEMCrypto, secure VA-API, and multimedia frameworks
Develop end-to-end testing applications for Widevine L1 secure playback validation.
Collaborate with PSP (Platform Security Processor), multimedia driver teams, and display teams for secure video path implementation.
Support HDCP integration and secure rendering pipelines.
Investigate, debug, and resolve security-related software issues throughout the trusted application stack.
Work with Google Widevine certification and compliance requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvements in validation automation, testing methodologies, and software quality processes.

Preferred Experience

Proficiency in C programming.
Experience with Linux Systems or Linux OS or Linux Kernel or Linux Drivers
Knowledge of media frameworks or video codecs or multimedia APIs and hardware-accelerated video processing or streaming technologies like DASH, HLS.
Understanding of memory management, particularly secure memory handling (TMZ - Trusted Memory Zone).
Understanding of cryptographic concepts and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with Google Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay, or comparable DRM ecosystems is highly desirable.

Academic Credentials

Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Employment Duration

This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months with an opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

What You'll Be Doing

Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering, including respective managed service offerings (usually to CIO’s, IT managers, data center managers, and SAP Technology staff).
Present the technical requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on SAP Data Centres, Premium Suppliers, and Hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap with partners, System Integrators, and/or SAP Professional Services.
Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such as Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
Work on Pricing using tools such as Quote Tool, Configurator.
